Just had an amazing meal at The Black Horse. Really lovely food, nice atmosphere too, nice outside area. I had the steak and ale pie, and the steak was so tender it was really fab. Large portions couldn't eat it all. We all had a different meal and all said it was delicious. And the wine is reasonable price also.d

I love this little pub.
I now stop off once a week for a cheeky pint and a chat on the way home from work.
The new owners have spent a lot of time and money doing this pub up which is obvious from the minute you walk in. It has a real pub feel about it and the staff are all very friendly. It has a nice court yard area as well as a on.
There is a reasonable variety of beers and the food is good too.
Pop in and give it a go, it's worth the risk.
First visit since new owners reopened this pub last week. Very friendly staff. Food was good pub food. Menu not huge but most family favourites were there and this was only lunchtime on day 4 of the new regime. Will certainly be going back soon.
Stopped off for lunch, had make it up sharer platter, we chose whitebait, chorizo, and lamb kebab, with ciabatta very nice and lovely setting. Could have a better selection of real ales. But worth a visit.
What a nice Pub/Restaurant staff are very friendly can't do enough for you , my Husband is Celiac, so nice to fine a pub thst cater for him the Chef Jamie has been great , it made my Husband day when he made him G/F Fish and Chips it was really nice highly recommended it
A nice place to grab a swift pint on a sunny afternoon. Interesting 'gardens' for patrons. They also do food, with kids menu, but I haven't taken advantage of that service.
The food now is fantastic ,and the chef is a genius. This is a revitalised pub now with great food ,Dominic is a bearded embassador for the new pub and will pilot it to the next level as a destination restaurant pub.
We had to wait a little while for the food, but it was delicious when it arrived. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, this has just reopened under new management. I live in the village and have had Sunday lunch at many of the pubs in the local area. This is the best to date!
Almost drove past as it looked so dark from the outside, like it was closed. However, nice inside and the Doombar was good. Already eaten so didn't get try the food. Maybe on another occasion.
Great pub food served in a beautiful environment! 100% returning for a Sunday roast and a beer soon. Highly recommended.
First time back since new management, and I've got to say it was excellent!, we celebrated a family birthday here, the food, service and atmosphere was absolutely spot on, thank you all very much, shall be returning most definitely!
