Seedy Blenders

Sandra did an amazing job catering for my daughter's 5th birthday party. We had a lovely spread of wedges, chicken, fruits, veg, sweets which was arranged very creatively. The chicken chunks were flavoursome and delicious! My daughter has a dairy allergy and we had a couple of children who were vegan so Sandra made a seperate tray of food for them which went down very well!!! The adults also enjoyed the food! It was money welll spent! Thank you Sandra! x

My most recent food adventure took me off the beaten high street path, in pursuit of a relaxed, wholesome lunch that wouldn't have me emptying my wallet. What I found was a delightful surprise; tucked away in the Dunmow Leisure Centre, I discovered a charming independent café called Seedy Blenders. Initially, I thought I was venturing to a mere caffeine outlet in an industrial park. Instead, I found a café exuding warmth and character in a surprisingly convenient location. The ample free parking, a commodity that is hard to come by these days, was an added bonus. My first encounter with the café was an incredibly pleasant one. The lady at the counter welcomed us with a friendly smile that instantly made me and my kids feel right at home. She even offered my children a sample of one of her freshly made, healthy smoothies—an unexpected yet delightful gesture. The food selection was impressively varied, with options ranging from wraps to jacket potatoes. There was also a fantastic array of smoothies. The café took the extra step of offering a homemade pizza for my kids, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Meanwhile, I indulged in a delicious jacket potato, exactly the wholesome, satisfying lunch I was craving. The food was not only fresh and tasty but also very affordable, ensuring that a meal here won't break the bank. One unique feature of Seedy Blenders is its location within the leisure centre, which provides an entertaining view of the swimming area. This added a level of excitement for my kids, making the visit all the more enjoyable for them. While it might not be your first thought for a romantic date, Seedy Blenders ticks all the boxes for a relaxed, decent meal with a side of convenience. With great food, affordable prices, friendly staff, and an interesting view, this café is truly a hidden gem. If you're seeking freshly made, healthy food and a delectable smoothie in a family-friendly environment, Seedy Blenders is the perfect destination. I can't recommend this place enough and am already looking forward to our next visit. So, if you're in the Dunmow area and want to experience a satisfying, economical lunch, remember, Seedy Blenders is definitely the place to be. I went to the leisure centre today and by chance decided to get something from the cafe, I was surprised by the high quality of food and drink on offer, I asked for some recommendations from the lady who was serving who turned out to be the proprietor called Sandra I believe, I had a Blueberry Smoothie with additions and without doubt it’s the best soft drink I have ever had, I am converted and cannot recommend Seedy Blenders highly enough, if you live close to Great Dunmow I would suggest you go and try this hidden gem.
