Stopped off for some food after shopping with the other half, the staff were polite and friendly, the food was great and it wasn't too busy when we arrived but it got busier before we left.
It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area or just passing through.

Nice carvery this place, lots of neat and real Yorkshires. None of those aunt Bessie style frozen ones like some places. Lovely friendly helpful staff who checked on us, also nice selection of winter vegetables like beetroot and butternut squash which were ab unexpected treat! We'll be back soon!

The carvery here is decent and even better when you can sit round the back over watching the fields and landscape.
2 standard carvery’s with one beer because I get a pint of water with ice just over £20 it isn’t bad.

Never been before but we was on our way home from Blackburn. I really felt like I needed a carvery for my evening meal ! Tender roast beef, soft and fluffy Yorkshire pudding and rich gravy. That's what I feel I got ! The choice of vegetables was good too. All cooked perfectly. The woman serving at the carvery was really friendly and chatty. The women on the bar were also very polite and helpful. In fact as we walked through the door we was greeted with a smile. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable price. Thank you.

I visited the gamecock today, I got 2 carvery’s and 2 Pepsis for £23. For what we got that was great! Great portion sizes and great food. Yorkshire puddings was huge and the meat was amazing. Staff was all so polite and helpful especially the lady who served us at the bar. Definitely coming back again!

Went for a carvery this afternoon had all three meat which was delicious there was plenty of vegetables to choose from all of it was fresh my family really enjoyed themselves the staff was lovely and welcoming.

We had the carvery. The gammon was a little bit tough today which is very unusual for Gamecock. We also had to wait an extra 5 mins for the Yorkshire puddings and they were a little undercooked. Won't stop me coming back though. Could do with some air conditioning in there especially in the heat as when I came out I felt like I had been in the shower. Overall it's always been a place I enjoy going so I do recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before xxxx

Went to a Sunday Carvery and wasn't disappointed. Went with another 2 people who couldn't finish because of how much they had. Staff was fantastic, definitely recommended
