Never disappoints, we frequent the bay horse for a Sunday lunch probably once a month at least, the quality, portion size and price are all fantastic and the food it always served piping hot. Sunday lunch and a pint of ale for under £15 what’s not to love
The staff were very friendly, approachable and served with a smile. The food was absolutely mouth watering. It was managed so it wasn’t filled to capacity which made the atmosphere calm. Will definitely be returning
Came here today on our barge as this pub was recommended by friends & we wasn't disappointed, we had the roast beef dinner. The beef just melted in your mouth, all fresh vegetables, the landlord & landlady made us feel very welcome we will definitely be returning.
We have been on numerous occasions now for Sunday Lunch never disappointed the food is amazing ( cauliflower cheese to die for) homemade Jam sponge and custard, the staff are fantastic and a great all round atmosphere.

Went today for Sunday Dinner. Can honestly say that it was the best Sunday Dinner I've ever had. A big shout out to the amazing Chef Linda. The Bannoffee Pie was to die for. Thank you Linda. A lovely atmosphere and was made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be calling again xxx
Recommend the fish platter. We hadn't been here before but will be back. The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. We were on our barge and thought we would give it a try and were not disappointed. Only a short walk from the moorings.
Discovered this pub whilst planning a walk by the canal. Lovely spot. Sunday lunch was delicious. Excellent value, generous portions and friendly welcome. Would definitely be back.
We visited twice in 2 days as we were in the vicinity in our boat. Staff were amazing (Simon even offered us a lift to refuel). Food was great. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back every time we are on that part of the waterway.

We have eaten here quite afew times. Food is always lovely. Landlord, landlady & staff are all really friendly. Locals always happy to chat & our 2 dogs couldn't be made more welcome.
