A lovely pub, very friendly staff and we had lunch. An excellent choice on the menu. The fish and chips, Hunters Chicken & gammon were all excellent. Highly recommend this gem.
Had Sunday lunch today (26.10.2025). Fabulous lunch, superbly cooked and well stacked plate, so much so, that my wife and I couldn't finish the meal, as much as we both wanted to! Really, really pleased and a great price to boot! Will definitely go again!

We've never visited before and took advantage of the 40% off mains. All of the food we ordered was cooked extremely well and was enjoyed by all. Only disappointment was that Octoberfest fest menu was not on despite being advertised on the website.
The roast was great value for money, large portions and delicious. Proper roasters,, homemade Yorkshire puds lovely selection of of veg, lots of meat and loved the extra gravy jug on the side. Service was excellent, friendly and fast . Definitely worth a try and we will be back.
