Really enjoyed my first visit to New Akash restaurant on Great Missenden high street. Extensive menu covering a wide range of chicken and lamb dishes. The chicken balti was the best I have tasted and spiced perfectly for me. I am so glad I chose the special fried rice as it was really tasty. And I just had to try the Ferrero Roche chocolate dessert. My son enjoyed his chicken curry too but my husband thought his lamb was a little tough. We all enjoyed our starters and poppadoms. The atmosphere was great and the staff too.
First decent curry that I have had in a very long time. Beautifully cooked king prawns and very soft chicken. Lovely taste.

Great delivery last night - they delivered locally sooner than stated and were patient when trying to find our house. Good price for amount of food ordered and we particularly enjoyed the Kind Prawn Nicoli!

Excellent Indian restaurant in the heart of Great Missenden, very busy on a Sunday night which was pleasing to see. We’d booked. Several tables full on arrival and loads more people came in.
Excellent service, very good food, naans were fluffy and tasty, my tawa Langa chicken curry was excellent, and all our sides were great.
Highly recommended.
Just had our first takeaway from here, 8 min drive feim Chesham for collection. Delicious food all round, nice moist chicken tikka and delicious spicy beef mirchi, all accompaniments were lovely too highly recommend!
Lovely meal, great service there was 10 of us, all got served at the same time. Recommend them highly.

This is a nice Indian restaurant in a very nice village. This is a very clean restaurant with nice decor. The food is of a high standard. The atmosphere here is relaxed and the staff are very attentive. There is another New Akash restaurant in Berkhampstead.
Never disappointed, easily the best Indian for miles .
