We loved it. We have had a couple of birthday dinners in the restaurant and in the pod, We love both experiences. Lovely staff, show my kids around including the open oven where their garlic bread was baked. She took her time to explain why it had a little burns on it as my youngest wouldn't eat it because of the black burns :/. He enjoyed the pizza though.

We had a really nice, unbooked lunch here today after a great circular walk from the local nature reserve. It’s a high volume place and knows how to deal with that - efficiently managed, very friendly staff, excellent atmosphere and original, tasty menu. The foyer in the Ladies is quite something! Thanks for an excellent visit.

Lovely location, really nicely done and the outside pods at a touch of outdoor glamour. Food was lovely and service was great. Nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Shame no gluten free pizza but plenty of other options.

First time visiting The Polecat Inn...I really enjoyed the food, I had some Harissa chicken which was fantastic. The chicken slid off the bone (insert gag here) I also had the Diovalo (hope I spelt that right) pizza. Again this was very nice, I couldn't eat the whole thing as it was a bit too much for me, but if I had a bigger stomach I would definitely have done so. For dessert I shared a sticky toffee pudding which was very nice also. Hard to get wrong, but I'm sure some places have done so.
The pub itself is quite a nice spot, plenty of spaces to park, and pretty decent toilets as well. We were sat in a pod which was a nice experience, I've not been in one before anywhere else.
Would I recommend The Polecat Inn, I would, the food is very good, and the service is pretty decent too, we had quite an attentive waiter servicing us and despite being outside he made us feel included within the whole pub.

Yet again an excellent Sunday lunch. Staff, of which there are numerous, are hard working, dilligent and polite and the food is to a very high standard. We tend to go there to spoil ourselves but we must start taking advantage of some of their offers and going more regularly. Would thoroughly recommend to family and friends

Food was incredible! Booked one of the outdoor pods for Father’s Day and we all had a lovely meal. The portion sizes are enormous and the kids meals are great value for money!

My friends and I went here for dinner. The service was great, the roast was exceptional (one of the best I've ever had!) and there was a lovely atmosphere. We didn't go in to the garden, but it looked nice when the sun was setting. Would definitely revisit.
