The Bell - Great Paxton - Photo album

Had a great Sunday lunch, four stars only because the lamb was slightly overdone and the staff forgot us a couple of times. But it was rammed busy and our table was booked at 3pm.
We stopped off at this pub on a long drive from London to Newark/Coddington, as this was the perfect half way point. It was a very quiet pub with lots of seating and a good menu. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. Really generous portions and tasty too. Would highly recommend it
Just had an awesome Sunday Roast at this gem. Portion was really impressive and so tasty, great value for money. Staff really helpful and welcoming. Thank you and highly recommend.
Best Sunday Roast I have had for a long time. Not only was the food first class our host, Rachel couldn't do enough for us and the children. Really great day. A big thanks to the whole team.
Always a nice visit, owner a passionate footy fan so there is always a great atmosphere on match day. Really nice food too, and a good kids play area out back.
Enjoyed an evening meal with friends. Food was really good, home cooked and generous portions. Really good value for money. Really friendly welcome and service
I took my colleagues to the bell for Sunday lunch and I can say it did not disappoint! We were all left in awe at the portion size and that we had a choice of meats, along with this there was great service, a lovely atmosphere and a really reasonable price for such good food! Plus the puddings were
Went with group of friends for an arranged breakfast. Rachel sorted out my gluten free and lactofree intolerances straight away. Lovely food. Lovely pub .Thank you
Fabulous steak night! The food was amazing and the wine we chose went so well with it too. Service was so friendly and it was all such good value for money. This is a wonderful village pub that really is a cut above the rest.
Was a dj at venue and couldn't ask for a better place to be
Food was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Very good place to eat and have a nice cold beer
We've just enjoyed a delicious roast dinner, the meat was cooked to perfection and the puddings were just glorious. 8 of us arrived and were taken to our table and the service was quick, drinks brought out more a less instantly after ordering, the food order was quick, albeit the chicken was unavai
Went to the Bell for lunch today. It was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. Made to feel so welcome by Rachel as soon as we walked in. Lovely latte's, fish and chips was really tasty and my husband had the all day gluten free breakfast which was amazing. Booked back in for next Friday,
Amazing food. Staff couldn't have been any more helpful and are allergen aware. Comfortable surroundings. Suitable for families. Cannot recommend enough.
Fantastic friendly pub, food is always wonderful with plenty of choice. I just wish I lived closer so could visit more x
Really friendly place, went there tonight, a Tuesday, and unfortunately they don't serve food, but they threw something together for us. Good food at reasonable prices.
Couldn't recommend enough. Food amazing, service fantastic
This pub is friendly, family orientated and dog friendly. It has a lovely beer garden with a child's play area out the back. They serve food which always looks good. Certainly worth a visit.
The food was exceptionally good - we had the roast pork. The portion size was very generous too! Good selection of beers on offer and the friendliest people running the place! What a find! 100% recommend
