Loved it. Beautifully finished inside (men's toilets a little under par but more the contrast to how nice the rest of the place is).

Popped in for an impromptu breakfast at the weekend (Saturday). Didn't have a booking but they were able to accommodate. I would suggest booking for a lunch or an evening meal though. Lovely place to visit, find this pub when visiting the local area. Staff were so friendly and polite, happy to have a conversation and recomend items. The food was very good and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely visit again when in the area.
My new favourite gastro pub. Beautiful lamb celebrating a family birthday. Staff very friendly, efficient and attentive, even funny sparing with the cheeky kids. Lovely setting on a stream with outdoor dining for spring/summer and cosy country fire for autumn/winter. Enjoy it when you go.
The pub wasn't very full, in fact we were the first people in the restaurant at 1900. The food was good. My pork belly was very nice. Beers were cheap

First visit since the big refurb and yes think they've got it right. Saturday afternoon and busy (especially food), great welcome and atmosphere. 6 real ales available (eventually) as they were so busy it took a while to flush lines and reconnect (at least they do it properly). The food here is sensational!! (I don’t use that word lightly). It goes beyond pub food, and having eaten here a few times now, I can say it is consistently dazzling!
The Sunday lunch…. Is out of this world.

Very fancy pub, not for the faint hearted. Great interior and atmosphere. Dog friendly. Log burner. There was barely anyone at the time of us visiting, still had to wait for 90minutes for the food to arrive. Other than that the food was delicious. Didn't fancy any of the desserts tho.
The Great Shefford if a lovely place the food is delicious and the view of the river its amazing k highly recommend going there.
