Me and my partner stayed here for our anniversary and had the dinner bed and breakfast deal. Everything was perfect. I phoned up before and asked if there was anything special I could put in the room on arrival. They had a few options, chocolate strawberries, rose petals and prosecco. And when we arrived these were lovely little touches. The food in the evening and at breakfast was amazing, and we got to finish off our evening in the hot tub which was perfect. The room (Owl) was clean, and we loved the decor. Over all our whole experience here was fantastic, and the dinner bed and breakfast deal is such good value for money. Definitely book for a little night away!

What a fantastic place to dine. We had a little trouble accessing it due to highway maintenance, but that was out of their control. They were very understanding that we were 45 mins late due to diversions. The food is quite expensive but it is worth it. The food is fantastic, it's well presented, excellent portion size and absolutely delicious. The staff are all very friendly and efficient too. I will certainly be going again. Just be aware it is very busy, so it is very loud in there. Those with hearing devices may struggle a bit as one of our party did.

I'm leaving a review to say how bad this place was in the hope that people won't go as I want to get a table in the near future 🤣🤣🤣 In all seriousness, this food was that good it would put Gorden Ramsey to shame. Its the best meal I've ever had. I went on their busiest day, Mother's day. They had approximately 200 people to serve in the space of a few hours and yet they still managed to keep up such high quality food and service. So I wonder what the food would be like on a much less busier day? I had a salmon for my starter, then the roast Beef dinner for my main and for dessert I had Sticky toffee pudding. I wish I could tell you that one of those dishes weren't as good but all three meals were spectacular. I cant even think of another word for such exquisite food. Just imagine the food you would get in Heaven...this is it. No I was not paid for this review...If they did it would be in the form of Rum 🤣🤣🤣 Only joking...please don't go to this restaurant because if everyone knew how good it is, then I'll never get another amazing meal. So in summary, DONT GO!!! 🤣🤣🤣

First time dining at the Kings Head and it was outstanding experience. The atmosphere was great and the staff were both professional and very courteous. We were waited on by Lisa who was excellent, we never wanted fir anything. The food was absolutely first class, flavours and presentation was first class. It may have been our first visit, but will definitely not be our last. First class abd highly recommended.

Managed to get a table for 5 today at about 12 noon, without a booking, but will probably book next time, as it was busy. Accommodated the children well, we were given all the menus, so the teenager had a burger from the bar menu, and the 8 and 10 year old had the children's menu. Portions were large, none of us could make it to dessert! They looked nice though. Staff were all lovely, we'll definitely be back!

A remarkable restaurant! Definitely not traditional pub food. The quality of the food was superb. It's not cheap, but the quality justifies the price. Attentiveness of the staff was exemplary. The fine detail makes it more special. White linen tablecloths and napkins give a more traditional restaurant feeling. It's good to see a restaurant offering bread rolls - why do so few places do this anymore?
