Stopped off here on a recent section of the coastal route ( we actually took a taxi to The Kings Arms from Horsey Gap and back again the next day, just to be clear)
Service from all members of staff was excellent , friendly , polite and attentive something which is becoming increasingly difficult to find , sad to say.
We were shown to our rooms which where both immaculate and well appointed. After a quick scrub up it was down to the bar for some well deserved refreshments. The bar is situated in a beautifully converted barn to the side of the main restaurant but adjoining the courtyard which serves both. After a couple of pints we made our way into the restaurant for an evening meal. Again we encountered friendly helpful staff and enjoyed a beautiful meal.
After a great nights sleep we had a superb breakfast and were once again on our way.
I would definitely stay at The Kings Arms again and would like to thank all the staff for their professional service during our stay.

Stumbled upon this little gem, attentive, knowledgeable staff. Food combinations and taste were top-notch. Menu felf fresh and innovative. The lunch set menu was superb value. Facilities excellent, I'm a sucker for white linen table cloths, and this place lived up to the e petition set. (Take a look at some of the community letters and photos on display, too) I loved this find.
Recently stayed here for my wife's birthday. The staff were all so polite and helpful. The food was out of this world and they even went out of their way to make my wife a special birthday dessert. Will definitely be staying again
Went for evening meal Al a cart menu group of 4. The venue is very nice although busy we didn’t feel overcrowded and crammed in. The food was amazing and timing was perfect and the portions were ideal. It is a bit on the pricy side but the quality if top notch so for me it’s worth paying that little extra. Waiters / waitresses were very polite and attentive. So to round it up would we go again, most definitely.
We booked for an evening meal as a birthday treat, the food was out if this world. The service was also first class, our waitress was Christina and nothing was to much trouble. The staff sang Happy Birthday and produced a plate with fruit and chocolate brownie pieces with Happy Birthday scrolled across the plate. Thank you all so much for making us feel special.
Fantastic food and the staff were excellent. We were made to feel extra special for my partners birthday lunch. The food was delicious.
Gourmet quality food, we enjoyed every bite. Good value bar menu during the week! Friendly, polite and well informed staff. And if you just want to unwind with a drink - there is a really nice barn bar and a beer garden! All in all - highly recommended!
We visited the Kings Arms whilst on holiday. We were served the most tasty well presented Sunday Roast I have ever had. The staff were attentive and extremely friendly. The table setting was beautifully presented. The pub really is a credit to the owners and their staff. We will definitely return again!
Visited for a birthday meal. While on holiday. We had the tasting menu. I couldn't pick a favourite as all were delicious . The staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful, and informed us on each dish. A lovely gem of a restaurant.
Absolutely flawless food, super service on a busy Saturday lunch service.
We had no booking and yet we managed to get a table with minimal waiting time.
