Called at lunchtime today at this busy, clean and tidy establishment.
Although not on the menu I ordered a couple of fish sandwiches. The fish was delicious, thick meaty flakes in a light batter and cooked to perfection. The kind staff threw us a handful of chips in each tray.
Highly recommended.
We went to brilliant gosh and chips while on holiday. The staff were really friendly and the food was reasonably priced. The place was busy but it wasn’t too long a wait.

Four of us had large cod and chips on Friday 6th Oct '23. Service was great. The fish was cooked to order so was fresh and tasty and not greasy. Portions were on the large side and they threw in some fish scraps. Really enjoyed it! The staff was decent, think the guy there was called Wahin or Wayne.
I LOVE this chippy!!! We aren't local but this is the only chip shop we buy from. Everything is cooked to order, their batter is always lovely n crispy, AND the chap on the counter is great to have a bit of banter with. Highly recommend

Perfect Fish and Chips. We drove here because of the reviews and it was worth the drive. The food was perfect, it was fresh, good portion sizes and tasted brilliant. The staff were friendly and service was very quick. I would highly recommend this place!!!
Been to this chip shop over the years. Different people now running the business. Order some chips that took nearly 15 minutes, even though there were chips ready to be served. Extremely slow service and not for the first time. Staff don't appear to be able to coordinate and work as a team. But ca

The chips were lush, but I'm really sorry, but the Haddock batter was very greasy. I couldn't eat it .
The owners were very pleasant.
Good value but batter on fish wasn't really fluffy or crispy and ended up soggy underneath as placed on top of the chips. Battered sausage wasn't really battered, more of just a coating of flour and fried. Chicken strips were good though.
Recommend not putting the fish on top of the chips when pack
Excellent food not over greasy very meaty fish chips medium portion between two still a lot left over.
Didn't have to wait long for Chips that were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside just as they should be. Chicken strips were tasty slightly spicy. Chicken breast was cooked to perfection. Eaten near the beach. Very pleased. Even better than at No.1 Cromer.
