Excellent restaurant! Seven of us ate here last night & couldn't fault it. We were very well looked after by Laura & the rest of the staff who brought us a shared platter of spicy olives, crusty bread & oil & vinegar to dip it in. For mains one said the steak was the best they've ever had, the salmon was delicious, the rest of us had beef or chicken burger meals which were also beautifully presented & tasted lovely. Some of us were too full for dessert, but the rest had sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce & clotted cream ice cream or warm chocolate brownie with hazelnut ice cream. Both were absolutely delicious! We all commented on how lovely & tasteful the decor & surroundings were & how we would all highly recommend this restaurant & would love to come again. Have eaten here twice now. The first time I ate off the A la carte menu which I can highly recommend and secondly for a roast dinner. Both times the food has been exceptional and the service was to a very high standard. I can not fault either times.
Just had tea with our grandson at this restaurant, really great staff could not do enough for us the food was amazing, good luck with this new venture.
Had afternoon tea with the family for a late mother's day and it was really yummy!! Had one each of their 3 options and the kids had the childrens afternoon tea. Great value for money. Had to take a doggy bag home x x x

Just had a lovely meal here for my wife's birthday. Food was terrific, staff very polite and attentive, very relaxed atmosphere and great value. Will definitely be coming here again.

10 of us had a Great night celebrating a 60th Birthday, everything we asked for was catered for (a bottle of bubbly in the hotel room & all our table decorations, photos & cake were placed beautifully) thank you to all the staff who made it a really lovely night ��
Had a weekend away at the Old Hall and whilst there we had 2 breakfasts, an evening meal and afternoon tea at Barfords. All were absolutely wonderful. Food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were fantastic and so friendly. The afternoon tea was amazing and such good value. We have already made plans to return. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We came today 23/7/23 a party of 12 to celebrate Mums 60th birthday.
The restaurant could not have done more to accommodate us.
Everything was perfect from start to finish.
Food was delicious and there was plenty of it.
Service was outstanding.
We will definitely be back.

I only stopped to buy a gift voucher, but it looked so good I think I will return and get a meal or afternoon tea here. I found a parking space but it was crowded.... Lidl is next door but it's 2 hours in their car park so keep an eye on the time if you do park there. I saw a few disabled parking spaces but all were being used.
Fantastic place! I'm gonna dream about that baked camembert now! 🤣😋 Huge portions, I mean look at the size of the ribs! Super friendly staff, very kind and bubbly.
Starters and desserts were spot on, mains were just alright. Still, I'd be happy to come back when around!
This place is more than amazing. Not only have I had the best food that I've had in years but the service and staff are super friendly and helpful. It's rare to get amazing food and amazing staff but this place has really pulled it off. Not only did I have the best meal in years but I had to come back for more. Again I was greated with smiles and helpful willing attitudes that was actually genuine. Tom and Lianne made me feel more welcome than any other pub I've been too. I can't praise this place enough and if you're on holiday, I 100 percent would urge you to go to this lovely place and allow the staff to make you feel special and dine on the best food I've experienced in the UK.
Had a meal in the bar Tuesday night and was so good we went back on Thursday evening too. Thursday was busy, but we were warned about the wait and the waitress was great. Will be back!
Absolutely amazing night last night at the Italian evening. Great food and the service was outstanding. I think the hosts name was Angela, she is an absolute credit to your business. Myself and my friend jo came and had a great evening all in all. Hope you do something similar again soon. Worth every penny.
All I can say is I can’t fault the restaurant every time we eat there from breakfast to dinner all was absolutely delicious amazing products friendly staff good quality food all good

First time visit this evening. Food was excellent and portion sizes are just right. Children's meals came on full size plates which makes the children feel more adult like. Service was a bit slow this evening but we weren't in a rush and it was very warm so it was nice to have a break and take our time. Staff were pleasant and the little jars of sweets for the kids was a nice touch. I'd definitely visit again.
