I was looking for a quiet restaurant to take my family & elderly parents.
I could have opted for a familiar pub/restaurant chain, but decided to give a small local but independent pub & restaurant a go instead.
Booking a table was easy, the politeness of the lady who took my call, really shone through & she was very helpful too.
But onto the food.
And I have one word to sum it up.
"Delightful!!".
It was a good simple menu, with a good choice of dishes that would suit anyone.
The food wasn't rushed to us, but neither were we waiting an unacceptable amount of time either.
It was just right.
The meals were presented well, they were hot & the food & ingredients fresh & cooked to perfection.
The portions were again, just right & for the price charged, very good value.
When I am back in Hopton, I shall definitely be going back to see if the good standards & food experienced, are still there.
An easy 10/10 score for all round great service, comfort, ambience & of course, the food.

Great pub just down the road from Hilton Holiday Park. It is one of those places where you can't choose from all the good dishes on the menu!
Amazing, so we went back the next day! So on Thursday we here and had some food, then came back the next day. The food was amazing, service was quick, décor was modern and lovely atmosphere (played some great background music). Ben our waiter was wicked and very professional. All the food was hot and tasted so good. We order a children's Mac and cheese for our two year old. We had some and it was so good we came back the next day to order the adult portion for ourselves. The halloumi fries was great, Mac and Cheese was banging, Burger was very good, the chicken nuggets was great, the Ribs was awesome. The strawberry cheese cakes was one of the best I have ever had! The two ladies that served us on the Friday where also wicked! The price was really fair for the quality of the meals and service.
Overall amazing experience, highly recommended.
PS. If you only have 1 or 2 reviews on your account. It is clear that you are fake and most probably have not eaten here!!!
The food was great had a lovely meal the staff friendly and it was warm not freezing like some pubs we had been too yes I give it 10 out of 10 and go again
Good food, reasonably priced. It was quiet when we visited but nice enough atmosphere. Seats were a bit dirty otherwise great place to eat out. Car park a bit tight but I noticed more parking at the front.
10/10. Called in for a late lunch on our travels. The food was fantastic and freshly cooked.
The only thing I would say as room for improvement is the hand dryer is the gents. I could blow harder myself 😀
Had our Sunday roast here, the waitresses were amazing. Beautiful smiles with amazing service. All very professional.
Food was out of this world, had a turkey carvery with all the trimmings. Very tasteful an full of flavour, right down to the gravy.
We had after, from the chocolate fudge cake to the lemon sponge, millionaires Sunday. All was amazing, an served by a beautiful smile.
Big thank you to the beautiful ladies who made our experience even better.

Had a lovely lunch at the white Hart in Hopton. Was recommended by a friend. Took my son. He had starter and main. I could only manage a main. Good quality and great service with a smile !
