Beautiful weekend stay at the clubhouse. So many great activities and the food and drinks are great. Highly recommend a visit.
A nice relaxing place to come to unwind. Friendly staff always makes you feel welcome. The floating sauna is a must for anyone who visits this amazing place, the view of the lake from the sauna is something spectacular. It has everything for grown ups and children to enjoy with a heated outside swim
Had a lovely 1 night stay at The Clubhouse. The facilities, immediate grounds, service and particularly the food are really great.
However, the hotel itself lets it down. The rooms are nice but everything was almost working; taps leaking, mismatch paint on walls, broken handles, the most unsanitary
The area is lovely and very picturesque. If you have a young family it is a lovely rest bite, as there is two parks for the kids to play at, foot golf, swimming pool or the lake!! Plus they offer a variety of facilities on the water such as paddle boarding.

Our first stay away this year to recharge our batteries! What a lovely Hotel! The room was perfect for us, comfy bed and a beautiful view across the grounds. Took my Daughter, Wife and Mother-in-law for dinner on mothers day. I have been a few times over the years and it never fails to impress. I believe the service is second to none. Very attentive staff that are personal and will share a genuine smile. They seem to enjoy their job.

Very peaceful place to come for a morning coffee on a sunny day. We had a latte and a tea. Both were tasty. We sat in the garden where you can see the birds in their nests and birds of prey overhead. It would be even better if there were a slightly better range of cakes. We had a brownie which taste
Clean, comfortable & professional service. Nice food in restaurant & a good bar, with a pub quiz night on Wednesday evenings. Quaint, old building adapted into an attractive hotel. Worth the long drive from London for a Valentine's Day, romantic break.
We loved this pub and enjoyed a drink out on the terrace and the children loved the fantastic play area (they would have stayed there all day as plenty of things to do especially the zip wire and bouncy cushions) we were then able to have a lovely walk around the stunning lake. Highly recommend and
I had a few drinks and a bowl of fries here on a Saturday afternoon - the fries were homemade and delicious, we were served very quickly, the staff were helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Lovely place to stay. We were in room two, it was very comfortable and spacious room with a great bath. Towels, bathrobes, cowshed toiletries, tv and tea/coffee, and a decent welcome pack with the needed info and local activities in.

The food here is excellent. Came here as a party of 6. I had the shoulder of lamb which was deboned and cooked to perfection , the roast potatoes and veg and home made Yorkshire were hot and tasted good as well. Amazing sauna. Glass front overlooking the lake. Sauna lake sauna. Lovely experience. Definitely it'll go again.
