Lion & Herring - Great Yarmouth - Photo album

Good place to have traditional fish & chips, also would recommend chicken if you're not a fan of fish
Lovely fish and chip's hot and crispy fish lovely.
Top notch fish and chip shop with great tasting haddock and the chips taste great and fresh. For the price i certainly got more than i bargained for. I will definately come here again on my next trip to Yarmouth.
Good fish and chips and cheaper than most places we looked at in Great Yarmouth.
Great to find somewhere frying chips in oil. The chips were delicious, like old fashioned home made ones.
Lovely fish and chips also something vegan for my wife to eat. Good positions of food.
It's where the locals go, but it's a bit greasy. Infinitely better than most in town. Proper chip and fish portions
Great staff 👍 Decent food 👌 Great battered sausage !! Sauces let it down tasted watered down
Just had a lovely 'big' portion of cod and chips. Always a beautifully cooked piece of cod 'huge'! Chips nearly always good though sometimes bit dry lacking in taste, prob down to the spuds used but always cooked how we like em - brown! Not pale and under cooked like some do them. And good value for
Had a really nice plate of cod and chips. Would go again.
Not quite sure why this chippy has bad reviews as I am the world's most critical foody and I loved it!! The chips were cooked to perfection and tasted great. The fish was chunky and white whilst at the same time moist and flavoursome and the batter was light fresh and crispy. All the meals eaten on
Very good fish, chips and mushy peas, a very clean establishment and friendly staff.
Great fish and chip shop. Clean, nice food, good choice available, and you can get a cup of tea with it. What's not to like? One of the best along Yarmouth sea front. Actually just in a side street but that's being picky. Not too pricey, I think good value for money. Would recommend.
