First things first, it was a Friday night, just after 8, there was only one guy eating on the far table, no music what so ever, the lady taking orders was wonderful great service but was a really dated restaurant.

2022 Update: still fantastic, the staff are lovely. I always eat here when I'm in town, the food is delicious.
We came for a quick meal Sunday, the food was ok, but as other reviews say the star is the Waitress, she reminds me of Carla Connor from Coronation Street.
The interior is a bit Fawlty Towers but it's ok adds to the experience one you won't forget.

Food is always good. Service is great and the lady who works in the front of the restaurant is lovely once you get to know her.
Amazing prices and great selection of good
We went for a quick lunch. Good size portions at a fair price. But it was the waitress that was the star, she was very entertaining with all the customers. Also the interior was out of the 70's. Something for everybody on menu and if it's not there ask.
We've eaten here a couple of times and we've never been disappointed. Good quality wholesome food and reasonably priced.
Will fairly definitely recommend to my guests.
They do a great Sunday roast special, 3 courses £14.25.
Make sure you spend over £15 otherwise it's cash only.

What a wonderful place to eat! First time we've come here and the food was absolutely delicious!! The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the price was really good. I would 100% eat here again on our next family visit. Thankyou
