We had a great time at Vauxhall, the caravan cleanliness was not great but was to be expected staying in a dog friendly unit. It smelt like wet dog and wee. We had some air fresheners with us and masked it as best we could do. The pool was fantastic kids loved the slides and the pool disco, however the booking system could have been better managed. Whilst waiting for walk ins there were several family's just strolling past reception taking up spaces of family's who were patiently waiting for a spot. Entertainment was fantastic! the team were very friendly and the shows were very well polished. Costumes looked fab and the visuals were awesome, only feedback would be that most evenings the volume started at a pleasant level but increased to uncomfortable by the end of the evening, expectedly it would be louder for the shows but it was a little too much for the younger children's ears to cope with would take some little ear defenders for anyone with sensitive ears.

We had a wonderful 3 night break here. We stayed in a swan caravan which was lovely. Really clean and modern, had everything we needed. The site was lovely and just a short drive to the beach front. The site itself was well maintain and clean. Food and drink was all reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our touring caravan holiday here. Its got a variety of activities to do with the children throughout the day and night. The main thing I would say they need to improve would be to advertise around the resort, what shows are on, who is the singer going to be (if there is one coming up) when is the slime making workshop, all these things would have been helpful to know. I probably would have spent more money here if I knew the times, dates if I could see them easier. The swimming pool for example, I thought you could only book online, I didn't know they excepted walk ins as well until I went and checked, if I hadn't they thats another service we could have missed out on. Overall really pleased with the park and will be returning next year.

*ONE ISSUE AND IT WASN’T WITH STAFF* So I went to this place as a £9.50 sun holiday with my disabled boyfriend, my disabled mum and a small dog. We hadn’t opted for a disability access caravan as we had more issues getting into one of them at another site. Our first Caravan had a few issues that we noticed the following morning after we arrived. I went to reception and within 20 mins we had an engineer person out to have a look at the issues. One of them was the gas not working correctly so he called to see if the Gas people could come and fix it that day. They could not so he went away and found a caravan that was working fine for us. Within an hour of me going to Reception we had been allocated another caravan. Both caravans were decently spacious for being part of the Sun Holiday deal. This site is a Dog Friendly site. There are signs all over the place to ask you to keep your dogs on a leash at all times within the park, as well as bins all over the place to put the dog poop. Unfortunately our dog was jumped by another dog that had managed to escape their caravan, however this was not the only dog that was off lead. The people apologised for their dog jumping our dog and as our dog didn’t sustain any injuries, we didn’t proceed any further other than to mention to reception about it. As someone with a fear of German Shepherd type dogs, I felt extremely unsafe with people walking around with those kinds of dogs off lead too. We are all on holiday at these places, the least you can do is control the dogs you decide to bring with you and respect that not everyone feels safe around all dogs. Don’t take your dog on holiday with you if you can’t pick up after it either 😡 why should the staff be shovelling your dogs poop up from next to the kids park? Purely because some people are too lazy to pick up after them. It’s definitely so fun trying to navigate a wheelchair around poop 🙄.

It was such a lovely break away, the only downside was the entertainment and food. One of the entertainment team were actually screaming at one point down the microphone and we left with several other groups. We couldn’t get the bookings to work online. Any of the staff we spoke to were not very helpful. The pitch we had was perfect, the facilities were spotless. The chicken from the fried chicken shop was so scrumptious, unfortunately the fish and chips was awful. One of the sausages was raw on the inside, but the fish was so overcooked. It was such a shame.

Arrived Friday evening bit later than planned but staff at reception excellent. Stayed in skylark everything catered for we needed for the weekend. Met up with family in arena excellent entertainment staff . Shows were top class . Only have one complaint the bar staff although very apologetic took long time to get served. Tried ordering from app for table service. Even longer over an hour for drinks to arrive. Don’t offer this service if can’t cope. Staff walking around with trays of drinks not knowing table numbers etc . Otherwise great value and lots to do

Great facilities on site. Lack of paving got our car stuck in mud, heating cut off in middle of each night and woke the children, kitchen knives stored in low cupboard and found by my 2 year old, grill handle didn't fit, no oven gloves. Arcade was clean, affordable my kids absolutely loved it. It's really well laid out and the soft play is small but also clean and good for a 20 minute break from slot machines. The craft room is a brilliant idea, wish there was a display of activities. Prices and a little gallery. The play area is too big for under 5s and unusable in the rain but wonderful if dry and lit up at night. The bar restaurant was huge. Toilets clean. Staff so friendly. Check in a long and cold process. Should be an online system really. Like amazon lockers. Linen was gorgeous and clean. Food overpriced. Didn't buy any. Cleaners so friendly. Lots to do on and off site. 4 nights wasn't enough but would like more options for kids in wet weather; it is England after all! 😀

Surprised how large the site is given there are several other parkdean resorts nearby, was very impressed with the accommodation, site and entertainment all very good. Food a tad expensive but what you'd expect for on site however was good quality. Choices between a pub style restaurant, take away fried chicken, pizza oven, ice cream and waffles, and a burger & hot dog stand. Pool very good size and various entertainment for the family, five minute drive from seafront.

Lovely little caravan, lots to do on the site we were very happy with all the entertainment/parks/arcade ect. We couldn't book any activities on the website (wouldn't let us) Our only downside was we needed a travel cot, and the cot didn't fit in any of the rooms so our young one had to sleep in the main living dinning room.

Our second visit to Vauxhall holiday park nice clean caravan in a good setting although the only toilet in the Swift caravan was too small and cramped separate from a good size shower room with no wash basin. Excellent facilities and entertainment love the park time went so fast which is always a good sign.

I didn't stay at this park however we met some friends there. Their caravan was really lovely and spacious. We visited the swimming pool which was a really nice pool - only downside you only get an hour max in the pool... but by the time you got in and got changed you have used some of that time....
