Five stars for what it is and doing it very well. It's an in-store restaurant which serves simple food well prepared in a pleasant atmosphere with cheerful staff.
Places to sit and eat, comfy chairs if you like for a coffee and bite. High chairs available but no booster chairs. Not noisy, not crowded, lines/queues infrequent and not too long. Good coffee and good breakfast. Jacket/baked potatoes are just fine for lunch. Lots of other things as well ... look at menu, or photo of menu. Obviously lots of free parking and free WiFi available.
Oops, forgot to mention the all day breakfast and that all meals have their calories displayed.....you can always shut your eyes to that.

Good food and really friendly staff, as i live alone sometimes this is the only interaction i get with other people. i suffer from anxiety and the staff always make me feel comfortable and check on me.

The portion sizes are just right and it's well maintained and cleaned regularly, it came to £15 for vegetarian bangers and mash and steak and mushroom pie with a side of sweet potato fries, along with 2 bottles of water, don't expect exceptional food but expect exceptional value

Food was hot and well cooked. Staff were smiling and polite. Prices were reasonable as we're portion sizes. Dining area was very clean.

Tesco great but what an awful dingy cafe! 2.80 for a muffin when in store it's 4 for £1 . Quite honestly the cooked food on display looked shocking . The two visible fridges (stainless steel)looked like they had been wiped down with dirty cloth. Staff look tired and disinterested . Next time I want a mocha I'll go over the road to Mac Donald's for one !

I ordered tuna mayonnaise baked potato. After being handed the potato, I was told "get a pot of tuna from over there - get the mayonnaise from down there where you can also get some milk for your coffee." After eventually figuring out away to open the mayo sachets (teeth involved), I mixed and prepared my meal. Tesco seem to have managed to take self service to new depths!

Went on a date and had a meal with my fiancee. She loved it, thanks Tesco

Had an appointment for an eye test. Staff were friendly and helpful. Don't like eye tests at the best of times, but the lady put me at ease.

I’m just wondering when you started putting security tags on bacon? I had to suffer the embarrassment of the alarms going off when I tried to leave tonight...he asked me what had set it off. Told him if I knew that I’d of asked for the tag to be removed at the till.
He then sneezes all over my shopping, picks out a pack of bacon, sneezes over that then waves it in front of the security detectors to see if it sets them off!!! Picks up some eye drops - I had to tell him they wouldn’t be tagged...I suggest that he tries the food scales I bought - no idea why they’re tagged, bingo - it’s them.
Then asks if I have a receipt (no mate I’ve done a £70 Shop but, stolen the £10 scales!! Then I have to ‘help him’ find it on the receipt because he doesn’t know what he’s looking for!!
The whole time everyone gawping at me as I’m stood there in my work uniform!!

Didn't know where to write this but want to show my appreciation to the very kind man who works at the click and collect at this store I believe his name is Dean. After going into the shop I came out to find my car wouldn't start and was trying to use my jump pack which Dean kindly offered to help me with but unfortunately it didn't work so he offered to phone someone for me to help but I had already phoned my grandad to come help me jump start the car which Dean also helped with. We then phoned the rac which we were told the wait might be up to 3 hours so Dean kindly said he would take my number plate to the people in store so I won't get a ticket, I asked Dean if he wouldn't mind giving me a call if the man turned up before we could get back because I had to go to pick up my baby. I can't thank him enough such a lovely man that went out of his way to make sure I was ok and had someone to help me. He is definitely a credit to your store and hopefully this gets back to him so he can see that his help made a big difference to a stressful day
