The Island At The Waterways - Great Yarmouth - Photo album

Glorious sunshine and beautiful setting, what more could you want? Stopped here for a little break after walking back from the Town centre. I had a shortbread cookie and hubby had the Norfolk bread, which tasted like a huge scone he said. Lovely young man, all on his own there served us. Reasonable
It would be almost criminal to visit this part of the world and not pop in here. Set on the island of a gorgeous boating lake, this wonderful cafe is surrounded by lovely scenery. The cake selection and taste of the cheesecake is devine and a treat to the passing traveller. There are boats you can
Lovely little place, staff are very friendly and helpful, rowing is very enjoyable a lovely way to spend some time messing about on the water, plus you work up your appetite for a lovely cake in the cafe
Lovely place for a quiet drink, but for the price of tea, should have been a pot not just a cup and the mocha was very good.
It's really worth coming here. Tasty coffee at normal price. The pedal boat ride was a great pleasure for children. Nice service
Best coffee I’ve had in Great Yarmouth served by a lovely chap called Sonny. I will most definitely be coming back.
Super super lovely! The food and drink was great (but the average price for a cafe), the staff were lovely and they were very dog friendly too! Was a perfect sunny walk out with my partner and pug (pug photo attached)
We came here as an extra large group, they were very accommodating, there was live music as well as pedal boats and rowing boats for hire. The young and old in our group enjoyed. The coffee was great and they offered oat milk as well for those that were vegan in the group. There wasn’t many cakes av
The staff are amazing the service is great .young man in there called sunny he is a star ✨
Had a coffee here with my mum whilst walking by. The lift to get down to the boating lake was broken which meant carrying my newborn buggy down the steps! Once down though, the setting was lovely. The prices are set according to your setting and the service was quite slow but I'd go back.
It a lovely cafe and friendly staff.
Small but really cute, spent the evening having a really nice lunch indoors. The scenery is beautiful and the staff are so polite, happy to see how much this little spot has change since I was a kid! They allow dogs to be inside which is always a win for me and around the island and cafe you can a
Great little cafe right in the heart of The Venitian Waterways Great Yarmouth
We love this cafe, the coffee and cakes are excellent, the staff are lovely and the charity concept is wonderful.
Had great fun on the boating lake. Staff and service are brilliant. My daughter dropped her glass which smashed everywhere, and the staff did a great job of making sure the food was safe and the glass cleared up
Lovely time spent on the water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of boats available either rowing boats or pedalos. Can fit 4 people in the rowing boat or 2 and a small child in the pedalo. Only £10 for 45 minutes so good value for money. Would definitely recommend. We'll come again 😊
When I was young, no holiday was complete without an afternoon on a boating lake. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed messing around in the boats invoking holidays past. They do rowing boats and pedal boats too. The location is wonderful, it's really well run and the price is very reasonable.
