Just finished a take away order from these guys. Have eaten with my husband and young baby at the restaurant twice before. The food is absolutely delicious, its so hard to find good quality oriental food without it being drowned in nuclear looking fluorescent msg laden sauce. Lulu's is something else, its so tasty! The service is amazing too, they make room for the needs of a young baby and they make a great lychee martini too. Can't recommend enough-just the restaurant that church street was crying out for!

We went last night. It was a soft opening so they were still getting their bearings. The food was amazing and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Try the slow braised beef. We will definitely go again.

Really enjoyed the traditional food here, inspired by Lulu's Chinese grandmother back in old Shanghai. Lovely staff as well. Excellent.

Wow, where do I begin? The whole experience was AMAZING! I asked plenty of questions about the food with the chef and learnt that everything is made from scratch. Every dish I ate was bursting with flavour, and no one went hungry. We didn't have to wait long to be served, and the staff were very welcoming. The ambience of the restaurant was very authentic and relaxing. I was also very impressed to find lager on tap by the pint. We'll be back – my new favourite Chinese restaurant by a mile!

Lu Lu was on our list for a while but never had the chance to try it before now. We went yesterday and it was such a lovely experience. Food was great as well as the service. We had some homemade dumplings (Xiao Long Bao pork soup and Shangai special sticky rice) which were so good, fresh and perfectly executed. The Shangai braised beef with Shangai noodles and Ma-Po tofu with pork mince were so delicious. Very good value for money, we will definitely go back.

This place is great. The karaoke basement room was so fun. The staff were a laugh, got involved in our stupid shenanigans and were very attentive. Food was delicious, particularly the shredded duck.

I wasn’t expecting much of this place, when we arrived the tables were dirty and the menus were too. But, we had some of the best dumplings I’ve had in London, the veggie spinach ones were perfect! Filled with vegetables, you can tell they are handmade with care and love. My partner had the pork soup dumplings and he loved them. The mains were good, the vegetables were gorgeously cooked with a generous amount of garlic and ginger, the rice was packed of fresh veg, but a tad on the oily side. The tofu was decedent and delicious, had a great red wine flavour. Service was also great. We weren’t so keen on the club music, it didn’t really fit in with the concept, which makes me feel the brand is a little confused. They should stick to the authentic , healthy and homemade food and choose a suitable playlist 🙂

This place is so much better than the other disappointing Chinese places in the area and it’s literally the same price. Delicious dumplings (especially the green veggie ones), always tender chicken, excellent fried rice and even a ton of vegan options. Our favourite local Chinese

The decor and atmosphere are charming... warm, clean and non-pretentious. The dumplings were beautiful... fresh and generous of filling. The seafood was my favourite. The staff are attentive, professional and warm. The range of dishes and drinks are impressive. I did not enjoy the warm sake. It is the only one they had and it was harsh and sweet. I enjoy thier use of sake in the cocktail range but to label oneself as a sake bar may give the wrong impression. Overall I enjoyed my experience very much and hope to be back.

Lovely food. Plenty of different courses. I'm not keen to Chinese food but it was delicious. Good prices and really quick service. I would definitely come back.

I would definitely recommend to come here, parking at the rear thats free after 7pm, lit up from the outside the pink restaurant logo and Chinese Lion welcomes you to the restaurant that is elegant and sexy, tables and seating is comfortable for two or a whole crew, we sat by the bar because we like food, booze and good music, there is a Mayfair restaurant vibe for eating/ socialising and a kind of party vibe, food wise was a wow, I thought my mum and dad was in the kitchen cooking and they were successful Chinese restaurateurs in China Town Leicester Square for over a decade. Dishes are well priced and generous, this restaurant does not cook with msg. A comfortable wine, sake and cocktail list, shame i saw champagne but it wasn't on the wine list so I didn't ask incase the price was intimidating. Hot and sour soup and sweet corn soup is a must they're silky and flavourful, if a restaurant has bad soup base then nothing will taste good; these are the Chinese equivalents to onion soup in a French restaurant, 3 of us had the two soups to wet our appetites, grandma's style braised beef that melted in your mouth, 3 baskets of dim sum which was made to order per order, you can only get that maybe in a fine dining restaurant, we also had lobster noodles in ginger and spring onions, live lobster with plenty of garnishing really made our mouth water, perfectly chopped and prepared I used a fork and pair of chopsticks and got all the meat out easily, my daughter went hands and tools on. We were stuffed and further stuffed with birthday cake then food happy coma. 3 persons, free parking, 6 courses complying of 2 soups, 3 baskets dim sum, 1 special main, 1 extra special lobster plus noodles, 3 strong cocktails and 3 large dessert shots total bill including great service £103, we will definitely be a regular at this hidden gem 💎

Absolutely BRILLIANT time at Lulu’s for my birthday! Delicious, authentic food and great karaoke. Great vegan options too. The karaoke room is huge with lots of room to dance. Two microphones and lots of songs to choose from. Jason and his colleagues are so friendly and considerate, going above and beyond. Also the Karaoke room isn’t an extra charge, just a minimum spend! You won’t find a better deal in London. The service was also spot on. We’ll be back for sure! Thank you for making my birthday so fun!
