I went there for the first time with my children and husband who was used to go there few years back. I told me it was a nice restaurant with proper portions.
Fisrt when we entered the restaurant it was empty, that was around half past one two o'clock. A young man welcomed us, first thing I disliked was the clothes the he was wearing: short sleeve t-shirt, jog pant and trainers. When you see the restaurant you don't expect to be served by someone wearing those type of clothes.
Then he gave us the menu. We choose what we wanted to eat BUT the server told us they didn't have what we selected either for us or the children(chicken kebabs, kids) we took lamb kebbabs instead. Please note they do not offer children meal which is absurd. Then the same problem with what we wanted for us with the shawarmas. So the server advised us to take the mixed plater for 2. He said that it was a good portion for 2 people. Well you will see the pictures of the main dishes. To be honest the beginning was OK with our cold and hot stater but then the time passed by and we were waiting too long between courses, knowing that we were the only customers in and we haven't see any delivery service out. We got the cold starter first (hummus, mutaboul) and 5 to 10min my 4 falafels.
Later he brought the plates with the kebbabs for the kids. I was disappointed, the chips were frozen one, I could only see onions raw and slightly grilled on the place accompanied with a tiny grilled tomato, and an old chilli pepper slightly grilled too. The chips were cold and dry covered with a seasoning spicy powder which is not precised on the menu which is not what you want to give to your children.
The plate was cold, the chips were cold and the meat was OK.
The same issue on our mixed plate, half of the chicken was cold, the fries were cold and dry and we got the same amount of onion and tomato for 2 people.
The beginning was OK but then everything went down. From the service to the products.
There was no paper to dry our hand on the toilet. The server kept on touching his hair time to time. He also used his phone for a min.
Then the surprise was of course at the end when we wanted to pay. They only take cash.
Plus the bill was too much and not justify for the quality we have been served. Almost 80 pound no drinks only 1 bottle of water.
They could at least grilled good size tomatoes and peppers(use fresh ones). Serve real potatoes chips like the fish shops serves. Ask the server to be presentable and check the toilet time to time.

Had a henna party booked here, booked with Ammar a month in advance and discussed everything that was needed and was promised everything would go well (big deposit paid too) Comes to the day and Ammar has unexpectedly left and so no one has details for my event, the waiters there tried their best and not their fault, however it's an unprofessional restaurant for an event and and would not rely on them for anything important. Ammar was dodgy and did not pass anything on, we ended up having to run home and get things ourselves. Food that was presented at a previous tasting was not what was giving to our guests. Would not recommend for an event, it's fine for just dinner or lunch.

Stumbled upon this place after spending time in Regents Park. The place was beautifully decorated with comfortable seats, cute flowers and traditional paintings. The waiters and waitresses were helpful and provided service with a smile. The food was great. We ordered qoozi and mixed grill for mains. The lamb served in both was delicious and portion sizes generous. I would definitely recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

First time trying this place. The restaurant was empty except one other diner. We asked to sit on a large table for 4 even though we were two as we wanted the space but we were told all the '4' tables were booked. We walked past an hour later and the restaurant was still empty. I ordered chicken kebab but despite the above photos was told that the grill was not ready yet. They then went back to the kitchen and said they would do it. We also ordered nan bread. 5 minutes later the waitress came back to say there was no bread. We asked for a large sparkling water. the waitress came back and said there wasn't any. We asked for something to be brought to the table immediately as we were starving. Nothing arrived. I've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. I can only conclude they didn't want us there so we got up and left. Such a shame as I work next door and might have been a regular customer but I won't be going back ever again..
