Having just returned from a holiday in Cornwall I called to see if I could get in for a roast on Sunday 24th September. He managed to squeeze me in a couple of hours later. Proper country pub, good beers, decent hearty food, friendly staff and log fires. The bathrooms have been recently refurbished and are really nice, clean and modern. If it was the only pub for miles around (which for us, it is), I'd be perfectly happy. So glad to see it open and thriving post-pandem

Amazing find! Everyone was very friendly and the Sunday roast was delicious and served with a big bowl of beautifully cooked veg. Possibly the best pub roast I've ever had! Highly recommended!
