We love the kingfisher and nothing will change that.
It’s a whole new menu but our favourite was still on which pleased us but when it arrived it was a disappointment,we ordered the Brazilian skewers as usual but it arrived totally different from what it usually was and what’s advertised,I’m not sure if you guys have tried to add your own thing or changed the meat but it’s so much better as it was,sorry guys but this was not to be messed with.
It was supposed to be a nice tangy glaze but you have changed the meat and added too much spice,for me the spice isn’t a problem but my wife loves these and gets them every time so was very disappointed when they arrived,your staff however was very understanding and helpful.
We offered to pay for our meal plus whatever else we ordered but our first meal was knocked odd the bill.
Our opinion will never change we love the kingfisher and it’s food and staff you all do a great job,thank you.

Won a valentines meal for 2 this evening, we had the steak sharing platter. All steaks were gorgeous and cooked to perfection. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. Would defo reccommend steaks from here and would defo return. Thank you so much for our meal.
Lovely place. The deputy manager and server were really polite and happy to help. Food was very nice. All in all, a great family pub that we all enjoyed. We will certainly be coming back
Pleasant staff. Not busy so chose our own table. Food good quality. Starter was smaller than expected but mains was a good portion. Hunters chicken for me steak for hubby. Paid £2 to park for 2 hours but was deducted from bill. No complaints.
Booked a table for 9 people and 4 dogs very, very last minute. Not only did they accommodate us but they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Right down to leaving 4 doggy bowls of water and treats behind the table for us. Food was fantastic, brilliant value and the service was top notch. Lovely staff and management. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend to everyone to visit this gem! xx
Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. The food was good, with enough choice for most. The Xmas/Halloween decoration I'm sure will be effective when it's finished.
Great pub to stop off at before catching the train home. It's spacious with nice views out on the canal. Sadly it was raining when I visited!
The food menu is standard pub fare. I had fish and chips which was decent. I also had a dessert of chocolate fudge cake, because why not? I was full and content after a good day. I'd say this pub is great for a drink or food, rather than a session pub.
Came here after walking down the canal, it was a lovely atmosphere especially sitting in the beer garden with drinks and food.
The 8oz sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and was a 10/10 in my eyes.
I cannot recommend this place enough for a good meal.
The food was spot on - only had a jacket potato and side salad but it was brill quality. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful - paying attention to my gluten and lactose intolerance. Pam served us at the bar and brought us our food - she was fab!
Just popped in for a snack and drink but ended up with 2 small meals from the lunchtime menu. We really enjoyed. We had gammon egg and chips with garden peas. All cooked well. Stall helpful and friendly. Place very clean .
Very friendly staff on arrival and was shown to our pre booked table, service was great and the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Excellent service all round and will be visiting again soon. Keep up the good work team kingfisher 👌🏻
Amazing place to eat. Staff were so lovely and helpful, food came out really quick and was delicious! They took the parking off our meal which was lovely. Definitely recommend and will be back! 🫶🏻
We had a meal in the kingfisher a couple of weeks ago and we WILL be rushing back to go again! We booked a table and in the note added there would be a few dogs, and a baby. They sectioned off an entire area for us and there was treats and water for the dogs ready and waiting. They catered to us all, human and fluff like royalty. The staff were friendly, funny, upbeat and on top form in their proficency. When the toddler got bored, they gave him bird feed for the birds outside and he was thrilled. Not to mention that the food was fab, affordable, and served fairly quickly. It felt like a proper pub. We will see you again soon, five stars in every aspect.
My husband and I called in here after an eight mile walk and were met with really lovely friendly staff 😊. We ordered our food and drinks and did not have to wait too long at all for it. It was lovely 🤩. Very reasonably priced and excellent value for money. The drinks were not expensive and the staff were lovely 🌹. An overall great experience for us.
It didn't affect us because we're walkers, but beware that there's a pay and display carpark.
Nice friendly welcome on arrival shown to our table staff were friendly and attentive food was excellent with plenty of options on the menu also separate children's menu thank you we will be returning
Pam and Maddison was great hosts, took my allergies in to consideration and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at ease. Really nice staff, thankyou the chefs (Adam and Aaron for preparing my meal and the food was lovely. Thankyou so much
Food, staff, service all spot on. Only snag is you have to pay for parking which is fine but then can't claim it back off your meal unless you pay cash. Not that many people have cash on the these days, so thst could put people off visiting
It were overall a good experience. Told on arrival food could be upto one hour. Luckily it was not that long. Food was hot and tasty. Chips were great. Portions on the small size especially the carrots 4 slices. Thought vegetables were cheap to buy. We called on a Sunday so menu was I thought very limited. I was told so they could concentrate on the Sunday roasts.im sure I've been before and had more choice. Sadly only had chocolate or strawberry ice cream so again limited the desert menu.
I'm sure in the past it was 2 for 1 sadly not today.
Still overall we enjoyed it.
We come here as a family quite regularly. Never had any issues, staff always friendly and helpful, food has been perfect every time we have visited.
I had a tuna cheese melt gluten free and was lovey GF option especially for the price. Lovely service from Pam too. Thanks!
Great service today. Managed to fit us in last minute with no issues. They have a great kids menu which am sure my Daughter will happily want to sample all items.
We went for the butcher boy pizza forbher and she loved it.
Burgers was top notch 👌 😋
