arrived 2:30pm on thursday. the place were pretty empty. people chosen to sit outside in a sunny day. six of us sat inside. the mixed grill was ok and the steak was tough. add £1.95 to the sandwiches, you can get bowl of soup. the spicy vegetable soup and sandwiches ordered were tasty. the tandoori half chicken served with sizzling hot plate and rice, it can be better if more spicier. the sea baa salad was good. the whitebaits was good.

Fantastic food and great service in a lovely setting. Brilliant play area for the kids at the back which is very clean and feels safe.

Visited the Royal George after the lovely makeover and sat in the re-furbished restaurant area. I was one of a party of eighteen and everyone in the party that enjoyed their various meals and said that they will return. The staff were lovely. Highly recommended.
