Popped in a couple of times over the weekend to watch football whilst housesitting for my Mum in the local area. Good beer at very reasonable prices in a clean pub. Was made to feel very welcome by all of the lovely staff there

First time here. New to the area. Popped in by myself, no friends. Don’t know anybody, nobody knows me. But I like it. It’s a good, really good place. Can’t tell you why. Not massive. No disco. There is some guy singing in the corner(quiet good btw) but not enough place to dance. But it’s still nice. Atmosphere, ppl around you. I like it here and will came back.

I felt thirsty so popped in here last Monday for a Lime + soda sherbet. Friendly barmaid and customers. I stayed just for 2 of these soft drinks and certainly would come back again.
Nice clean pub, bathrooms clean too. Staff were charming. Comfortable seating options and minimal options outside on street. Unfortunately only instant coffee available. No food provided. Pleasant peaceful atmosphere
