Blenkinsopp Castle Inn & Bistro - Greenhead - Photo album

We were on a 10-day UK vacation, and this was one of our overnight stays and the most enjoyable! Great B&B. The entire staff was awesome. We had fish and chips at numerous locations but theirs was by far the best. The pub was great (especially the local gentleman and his German Sheppard!). The break
There is a real castle but the pub and accommodation is next to it. Probably the story about the castle already being there when Richard Lionheart was around and a Muslim princess living there is a bit of a hoax but a good story nevertheless. Dinner is very good, rooms nice with the little patio.
Dare i give the game away but what a great overnight stop, they do do bnb but also if your in your camper you can stop here as long as you have a meal in the inn. The steak i had was spot on .. flavoursome and almost melting along with the peppercorn sauce washed down with a couple of tasty pints. M
Please Ignore the recent 1* reviews, there obviously seems to be a little bit of jealousy of how perfect this little hidden Gem actually is!! Myself and my partner stayed in our campervan in the rear car park of the pub after a very busy day doing part of our Nland250 tour. We came across blenkinso
We are so glad we chose this place for our overnight stop for the drive between Wales and Scotland. The original castle was built in the 1300s, and was restored in the 1800s as a mansion. A fire ravaged it in the 1950s, and it was rebuilt into the inn that it is today, incorporating some of the or
Quality place!! If you want to meet great people. Everyone called Paul and Benson! Made to feel so welcome. Great staff. Michaela, Elivia, Hannah (good luck at Cambridge). Carol and Gary great hosts! If this dosent appeal don’t bother! Thank you all. Chris and Sam ❤️
Did a layby when walking Hadrians Wall - really enjoyed the ambiance, the inn keepers are personable and very helpful - food is excellent - staff is fun - just an all together great experience!

A great stopover on the Pennine Way. Made to feel very welcome. Great food. And bonus they did some washing for me too. Thank you!
We had a lovely stay with Gary and Carol while visiting hadrians Wall. The room was perfect and the food in the bar was excellent. The hosts couldn't have been nicer, friendlier or more accommodating. Highly recommend staying here, with the added bonus of a castle ruin attached.
A beautiful b&b with very friendly staff. The room was gorgeous and food tasty!
Stayed here on a Britstop with my motorhome. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Book a table, as it fills up quickly.
I stayed here for two nights whilst walking Hadrians Path. I had my cocker spaniel in tow. Gary and Carol are the loveliest hosts and make you feel very welcome. When I checked in I was taken to my lovely spotless room which was very cosy and comfortable. I slept like a log both nights as did th
Great little b&b, its in the middle of nowhere but that didn't bother me. I had dinner there too and the food was really good. My only issue was that although the service was really friendly, I felt ignored during dinner but then it could be that they had a new starter so the other waitress was tr
Generous portions for Sunday lunch. There was a narrow choice but the pork was good though lacked apple sauce. Service was a little slow, it seemed they were boxing up a lot of take away dinners which maybe slowed then down a bit
Stayed the night I my motorhome after a lovely meal. Breakfast the next morning was good too 😊
