The best bar in Greenock. I love the vibe of this place, a great selection of food and beer. This place has beer on the menu that I’ve not seen elsewhere in the UK, huge credit to them for their beer selection. A completely undervalued bar. 10/10 for me.

Best bar & restaurant in Inverclyde. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Whether it be enjoying a freshly cooked breakfast with the family to sipping on cocktails on a date night, they just set the tone so perfectly. West is also dog friendly, so looking forward to returning with our big pup one day.

This is bar far the best bar and restaurant in the West of Scotland. My girlfriend tried haggis for the first time via the Iron Bru Haggis Pakora and it was phenomenal. We both took away with us 4 different cocktails which came in these really fancy pouches with top notch edible decorative’s, basically the best cocktails we’ve had - BS. If you’re in the area this place is a must. Get it done.

This is THE Cocktail destination. West make the best Cocktails in the area and pay attention to every detail, even making their own Gomme, and being hugely imaginative in the process.
Easily the best Espresso Martini I've ever had. Extra ingredients mean that all others have been ruined for ever.
The food is full of flavour and real comfort stuff. Great burgers and all round Pub Mex Gastro delight.
Disco fries. Casual Genius.

Love it when a place has a fun menu especially when it comes to naming dishes and cocktails. Staff are so helpful and the buffalo sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever tried. Wish they served bottle of the stuff

Great wee place (where Aldos' used to be) carrying on the tradition of good food in this location.
Service was superb as was the food. Try the Irn-Bru wings, absolutely brilliant.
I'll be back and "slowly" working my way through the menu to protect my waistline...

My wife and I booked into The Westend Bar for a wee Birthday meal. When we arrived the staff where super friendly and helpful. Showed us to our seats and before we knew it our drinks order was taken and at our table.
The drinks where delicious. My wife tried a few cocktails which the Bar is known for and she was so impressed she has insisted we get back she she can try the rest. I will not lie I was a little boring and just got a few old fashions. I wont lie I've had a few places claim to make the best OF but they never really lived up to it. The Westend didn't make this claim but they really should have! It was delicious and when we go back it will be the only drink Ill really order to treat myself.
The food we had ordered arrived shortly after. Both my wife and I went for tacos. I had the sticky Chicken with sesame and my wife had the Pulled pork and bacon. We also had a side of onion rings and fries between us. The portions where perfect. They left just enough room for dessert and again, just like the drinks, it was all delicious. My wife and I are usually a little fussy but we ate very last bite. The food was amazing and portioned perfectly.
For dessert my wife had the Caramac chees cake. Again it was flawless. I have the strawberry Sunday and again it was absolutely perfect.
I know this has been a little long winded so to summarise it a little. The food is fantastic, The drinks are fantastic, The venue is fantastic and the staff are absolutely fantastic. My wife and I cant recommend The Westend Bar enough.

Amazing wee place I’ve drive passed far too many times without stopping. Hadn’t booked but we chanced our luck and got an early table.
Even with a fully booked dinner schedule they were willing to serve us.
Staff couldn’t have been nicer. I had the chicken wings off the pick n’ please and joe had the Philly cheesesteak with fries.
Just because it was on offer the twirl cheesecake special was ordered to share 😍.

Food was amazing, generous portions, quality is definitely reflected in the price. Nice atmosphere, good alcoholic drinks, great service - plus if you don't finish your food, they offer to pack it up for you to take away.
