VIP Garden Pods are love. These had their private hot tubs that we could relax in, and I loved how clean the indoors of the cabin was. Definitely visiting again!
Almost perfect holiday experience! We loved our time at Laceby Manor lodges, the lodge was pretty much perfect, Bar the lack of black out blinds and flood light that shone directly into the bedroom. There's also a lack of onside facilities, there's two restaurants but with limited service times. We struggled to get a booking and ended up elsewhere.
We had the best stay at Laceby manor in the Rose lodge. The cabin was perfect for our 4 night stay. The fridge-freezer was stocked with Milk and ice, the cupboards with tea/coffee/sugar (and biscuits!) ideal for us as we arrived late with no shopping and could still enjoy a morning coffee! The hot tub was checked every morning with no disruptions and the entire site was impeccably clean. We enjoyed a complimentary round of golf on the spectacular course, and had dinner in the Oak room which was equally stunning. We spent hours looking for the perfect luxury cabin holiday and Laceby Manor was exactly what we hoped for. We are very much looking forward to returning in the new year!
Lovely spa, stunning facilities. Treatments weren't worth the money in my opinion, paid for 50 minutes and received maybe 35-40. Spa itself is fairly small, butlers were amazing. Very clean facilities and stunning views.
Spa day - really nice. Love what they've done with the place. Staff are amazing.
A few things with facilities. Pool has no railing, majority of the guests are of a certain age and we're struggling. There are no toilets available apart the one unit in the changing room. Showers have very see-through doors so nobody used them. Apart from that. Amazing
Stayed in a lodge for a week and visited the spa for two days, such a lovely place. So peaceful and relaxing. The lodges are perfect, built to a very high standard, the spa is spotlessly clean, the staff are lovely. We'd love to come back again.
Beautiful spa with fantastic facilities. Really gorgeous finishes, fittings and products throughout. Friendly and helpful staff, as well as delicious food from the Oak Room. Would 100% recommend!
Loved the spa and the service. The cold swim area was amazing and something ive not seen anywhere else. The service was great especially the lady who servied us in the restaurant. I would have liked a changing room, there were only toilets or showers that were private and no where to put your belongings whilst you got changed. Also, between 7-7.30 we were reminded several times that we needed to leave eventhough we booked until 8pm so we felt a bit pushed out.
Everything was spot on, first class from start to finish.
Lovely settings.
Great walks.
Great food.
Easy access to Cleethropes Town FC which was the reason for travelling over from North Wales.
Stayed in the D'urban Lodge. Was very nice and well decorated but could have been cleaner. The lodge was clean on the surface but lots of things missed like, table outside not cleaned, Ash tray left full, cob webs not cleaned away and draws not checked so someone else's clothes were still in them. It is very peaceful though and we had a lovely time.
A near perfect experience!
We visited on a one night weekend spa stay, arriving 3pm Saturday. Our lake view spa lodge was very modern, had Swedish-esque styling and a luxurious bathroom. Everything in the room was pristine and looked brand new.
We utilised the also modern, pristine and very well kitted out gym before going back to the lodge to enjoy the outdoor tub on our deck overlooking the lake. For dinner we were not in The Oak Room as it is currently undergoing an extension, but the area set at the end of the clubhouse was still very nice. The food was lovely and service was prompt and friendly.
On Sunday morning we had a nice and very generously portioned breakfast in the club house dining area again, then commenced our full spa day. The treatment rooms, saunas, steam room, pools etc are all modernly styled, luxurious and immaculately clean. The cold water natural swimming pond is a very unique and rare experience.
We had a couples bathing ritual and separate massage treatments later in the day which were all excellent. A nice buffet lunch was provided in the time between our treatments at the spa restaurant area, with plenty of options to select from.
A big positive of the spa is that they clearly restrict the number of people that can book. At no point was any area of the spa overcrowded, so everyone had the opportunity to utilise every area/room at their own pleasure and not really have to share with other people much.
Only a couple of small negatives to mention. We had no hot water in the shower of the lodge. We did get hot water in the tub, so we thought we had maybe used the supply filling it up before showering later on, but it also didn’t work the next day.
There are no toilets in the spa area so you have to go back to the changing rooms at the reception. There is also no dedicated male changing room and showers are communal (I believe there is a small separate womens changing room but not sure if it has a shower).
Laceby Manor is a lovely, high end spa which I would definitely choose to visit again.
Breakfast was great. The course played well. Greens were a little slow but held the ball well. I really enjoyed my round.
Excellent venue and great course. Held our ladies society day here we were really well looked after and the food amazing
10/10 experience! Food was amazing, Facilities are 2nd to none & the british weather was on point for once. Staff tentative & made our visit perfect 🌞 highly recommended
We had a new lodge and it was wonderful, decking round three sides so could always sit in the sun. Had all you needed, free WiFi, nice glasses, all good quality. The room sizes were home sizes, not caravan. The design was will layed out, with both bedrooms having on suite bathrooms which lead to the hot tub, which was covered so can be used all year round. The outside seating was of good quality, unfortunately the cushions had been mixed up with another lodge, which took day to sort out. The only issue we had, which was a shame and possibly due to being mid week break was, wanted to eat in one of their restaurants, was not aloud by spa staff to view the place and just told to book on line, which we did... But the noticed different memu and we prefer the memu options from the golf club so rung 4.30pm when everything was open, four different numbers, reception, golf club, spa and restaurant and no one answered so decided to cancel and eat out. Which is a shame as we really wanted to experience all there was on offer. Would highly recommend
The best spa we have been to!
On arrival we were warmly greeted with hot towels and health shots and offered a drink. We were then given a tour and shown where to the changing rooms were. The changing rooms are lovely, underfloor heating and extremely clean. We then had our treatments. My therapist was extremely knowledgeable for my skin and I had the best facial. She was lovely and kind. We then explored the facilities. The indoor/outdoor pool was amazing, incredibly warm and where we spent most of our day. All of the rooms were fantastic and the level of cleanliness was brilliant. We had a two course lunch at the oak room which was also faultless. Two members of staff were around to take drink orders, you could even enjoy a glass of Prosecco in the pool over looking the golf course. This was an absolutely perfect day, far better than larger competitors in my opinion. A real gem and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you!
Beautiful views, and setting. Loved the steam room, two saunas and infinity pool. And had wonderful treatments and a really tasty 2 course lunch. Would have liked more bubbles in the pools though, they were very sparse and didn't last very long. Definitely recommend for a treat, though. We went on a Monday and it was pretty quiet
Me and my partner stayed in the belfry (love) lodge. Beautiful lodge and location looking over the golf course, holes 2-4 I believe. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We had an evening meal both nights at the orangery and round bar which was really nice and highly recommend eating there. The staff was really friendly and my partner loved the golf course. We had a lovely weekend here and will be recommending it to friends and family.
My mum and sister surprised me with a spa day for my 30th birthday. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are amazing. We were greeted with a wellness shot and a hot towel. We were given a full tour of the spa. I was given some freebies for my birthday. All day the staff were so attentive, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The two course lunch in the little lodge next to a log burner was lovely. We even managed a dip in the outdoor natural pool. There are fresh towels and ice water to use all day. Staff ask regularly if you want to order any other drinks. This is such a lovely spa. I will definitely be back.
