Went for afternoon tea was gorgeous chicken in batter mushroom tomatoes kebab mini hot pizza mini fish finger sandwich chips and salad with mini lemon cheesecake eton mess chocolate dessert and strawberry shortcake with a big pot of coffee for the price my freind payed 12.50 each it was lovely nice and hot and a nice chat with Jackie the owner
Often have a Sunday lunch delivery from Poppins , this week I had the large Lamb dinner, it was absolutely delicious, fabulous, thank you guys x

The thing i love most about this joint is that I would probably go as far as to say that this is a beating heart of Scartho Village. So much so that when we arrived the staff even noticed that we hadn’t been in a while (no reason other than been major busy) and welcomed us back- that’s how friendly and customer-orientated and noticed that my daughter had grown a little since last time; that’s how much they care. The food reminds me of my mums cooking; so delicious and that extra “thang” to it that they don’t even know how they make it- they just make it with absolute love and joy. Whenever we go for Sunday dinner and I can’t decide what to have the lovely owner just pops all 3 meats on and will often pop her head and say “do you want me to pop some pie on aswell I have some left?”.That for me is all I need to know about a place and the gaffas who run it. This is customer service and food that you wouldn’t find at local costa or m and s cafe. I don’t even have any pictures because i’m too busy chatting away to the staff. My only quarm is stay open longer please 😂 Poppins is ace!
ordered a cake platter was thrilled with the amount and the quality of the food (especially the scones!!) the staff were so lovely and helpful will definitely be ordering again
Come in for a Sunday roast after listening to my dad rave about it for weeks and it was beautiful everything was fresh the staff were so lovely and helpful would definitely recommend the treacle sponge for desert aswell 😍

After searching all over for a cafe which didn't serve tiny portions for ridiculous prices, we came across this beautiful little cafe. Food was absolutely amazing and for an equally amazing price, would definitely come here again when we're in the area

We arrived in Grimsby form a visit to Grimsby Baptist and searched for a café. We were fortunate enough to find this one. Delicious toasties for four and friendly service. Couldn't ask for anything more.
Good quality home cooking. Brilliant fresh products used. Home made cakes to die for.
Family run local business owners are very friendly and nothing is a problem for them too.

Had 11 of us for a Birthday event Sunday lunch. Absolutely delightful, great menu choice and the quality of the food was excellent. Perfect venue for a small party, so glad we went.
