I've had to wait since March 2021 to get my hands on a battered chip butty.
I saw the story on the Grimsby Telegraph website and had to try it.
I've only been to Grimsby 3 times since then so I was delighted to be able to finally have one.
The staff were lovely, and cooked me a fresh butty took about 10 minutes and it was piping hot!
It cost £2.50 and was well worth the wait.
Booking for 14 including 5 small children. Friendly, helpful staff. First visit since restaurant refurbished. Lovely and clean. Food arrived quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Nicest mushy peas I've had in ages.
Excellent taste and large size of haddock fried to perfection. Chips were tasty as well. As a foreigner it was precisely what I expected for the quality of English fish n chips. Lovely staff and nice restaurant.
