The Angel Inn - Grosmont - Photo album

A lovely country village pub, most certainly the hub of the Grosmont community. It was a beautiful day so we sat out the beer garden with our Gwynt y Draig cider and a couple of bags of crisps. There was a mix of locals and families with children of all ages and dogs. A really vibrant but chilled at
Whilst on a day out visiting the three castles, on our visit to Grosmont we decided to call into the Angel for a pint. We had a friendly welcome and sat in front of the log fire to enjoy our drinks. Our dog was welcomed too and spoilt with treats. What a great little pub!
A proper pub in a lovely village. Excellent seating area outside and there's also a boules pitch!

Absolutely fabulous Sunday Lunch! Can't wait to come back. Have recommended friends and looking forward to another meal soon! Definitely 5 star service and food! Well done Jim Hamilton and team.
Lovely welcoming Team here..actually moved our booking forward when we arrived early from the 3 castles walk. So pleased they did this as it enabled us to enjoy one of the best meals I've eaten in a long while. Excellant chef indeed..lovely herb crusted lamb loin and confit shoulder with lamb crackl
An absolutely great pub . Terrific atmosphere always and the centre of the community .The locals are so welcoming and we love coming down from The Highlands whenever we can .
Very friendly local pub......full of character in beautiful setting. Excellent food, very competitive prices. Sunday roast and local cider come highly recommended!
As someone living in Manchester & who visits the Ribble Valley regularly (which prides itself on Gastro pub food), this is without doubt the best Sunday Roast I have had in YEARS. Amazingly good value. Top quality beef, massive portions, delicious veg (incl Asparagus & Tenderstem Broccoli) not to me
What a fantastic find. Delightful pub, really lovely, welcoming couple who run it and some fabulous locals too. They served scotch eggs at the bar to go with an excellent pint or 2 or 3. We haven't felt that welcome in a pub for years. Can't wait to go back.
