I've recently visited this pub just after coming out of the second lockdown and must admit i was pleasantly surprised with the service the treatment and how much the pub changed over the years. The renovation looks stunning, very cozy place, accesible prices and friendly staff. Definetely recommend

Great vibe with fine beer ✨ Such a cool local place to hangout, cozy and warm. There are plenty of choice of beer that you can choose, which I really enjoy. The waiters are nice and friendly. Overall, it's a cool pub you should come once if you're here in town.
Charming old pub, chilling out atmosphere sitting close the cheminée...and a great "Classic Hamburger " from local butcher. Strongly recommended to people who like traditional and calm places.
I love The Royal Oak because there is always a friendly crowd there and helpful bar staff. It's a cozy oasis in the middle of town. It also has some great beers!
Great pub, serving an excellent choice of cask and keg ales. The gin selection was good too. The bar staff were very friendly and the atmosphere overall was lovely!
I was here during the week; fantastic bar with an immense range of bottled beer and one the best draught lineups in Guildford. Highly recommend.
