Visited this pub a couple of times, lovely friendly atmosphere, good selection of drinks and food, will be going back as can not fault the food, all of the food we had was tasty.
Well worth a drive out . The other good thing about this pub is disabled friendly so my husband who's in a wheelchair had no problems at all.

Visited Parrot for lunch today. Food was A1 A proper size meal with veg and trimmings at no extra cost. All properly cooked. Staff great we will return. A superb country pub.at

Ended up here on Sunday by chance just driving around. Everything was really tasty and you could tell was homemade. The fried chicken in the mixed platter was really crunchy, soup was delicious, lamb roast come with a great selection of veggie, and the lemon meringue cake was light and perfect! It really made our day! Friendly as well! I'll bring my parents next time they are in town.

We met for lunch, 4 ladies who work for the same company. It was a hot day so we chose to sit inside where we could have a leisurely chat.Most people were outside so we didn't feel harassed. The food took a while to come but that didn't matter as we had plenty to talk about. We had 2 jacket potatoes, fish and chips and a tortilla wrap. Our empty plates told the story. Delicious!

A nice beer garden and plenty of parking
A large bar area with satisfactory decour if a bit gloomy.
A good choice of drinks and food with accommodation also available and friendly staff.
The only reason I've not rated it 5 stars is the place is a little bit tired - but that doesn't spoil the experience
