The Jolly Farmer Puttenham - Guildford - Photo album

Today we visited The Jolly Farmer for a late Sunday lunch. It was the first time I had visited the pub since it changed from being a Harvester & it won't be the last visit, that's for sure! What a lovely upgrade! The pub has a lovely vibe, very friendly & welcoming. It had cosy corners & a warm atmo
We called up and was greeted by an automated phone system which tells you if they have any space available for bookings. It's great if your introverted or have social problem as it's all done by your phone keypad. You can also choose to speak to a staff member if you prefer the old school way. The o
Had a Farm Shop Platter - a great combination of baked Camembert with hazelnuts and honey, a couple small lamb koftas with a small naan, tzakiki and salad, chicken liver parfait covered in a blackberry gel, toasted strips of garlic ciabatta, celery, cucumber, and grapes. Sharing for two, there was
Eaten at Harvesters hundreds of times, but this was undoubtedly the best visit so far. We arrived over an hour before our booked time as shopping had taken less time than expected but the staff seated us within 20 minutes anyway, a drink in bar passed the time. Five stars are not enough for this restaurant I strongly suggest you go out of your way to visit the service was excellent and the food didn’t disappoint either I’m guessing the chefs must be the owners for the food to be this quality
Service was a bit slow, even when restaurant was not overly busy, but meal was spot on! Rocky road defo needed more chocolate to what I had 😬
Excellent service at what was a quieter time. Good selection on the menu, apart from the sweet desserts. However, there was an excellent cheese board on offer. Be careful if you're elderly and/or disabled, or with young children, as the car park is the other side of a busy road.
Amazing staff with amazing food. The marinated flat iron steak is the best!
Excellent service despite temporary power under a double generator, classic menu. Loved the sharing tapas.
I had a Lovely lunch with my my and daughter. I would highly recommend the Jolly Farmer the food is amazing and the staff are very helpful. I will be going back again with other members of my family and friends.
