At last, a really good local pub for us. Beer is excellent (Hobgoblin kept perfectly), dog friendly, friendly staff and very good food. Good variety of vegetarian food also available at reasonable price. Will DEFINITELY be going back. Hope the current management team stays around for a while!
Superb place. 2 off road car parks. Falt entrance. Good choice of drinks at sensible prices. Menu looked very good. Friendly staff, landlord and customers.

Served by polite staff. Food took around 20-30 min to arrive but it was well worth the wait for the "home cooked food". It was quiet when we visited but will definitely be making more use of this establishment now. Keep up the good work and compliments to the chef.
Recently changed hands. The cask ale was fantastic. Had a great chat with the landlord and his staff. The place has been redecorated to a nice standard. Will definitely be going back.

The room was chilly. Although a log fire was there it was not lit.the food was good and well presented and good portions. The ale and lager is really good. Nice atmosphere.
