Lovely little place with an attached farm shop. Plenty of covered seating outside to enjoy your meal. The attached farm shop was well stocked with local and independent products and also serves hot drinks and food for travellers passing through. For my fellow wheeled adventurers there is a ramp i
We had the Sunday roast here today. The food was really good and plenty of it. The pub has the feel of a family home with all the staff being really helpful and cheerful. Excellent value for money.
Lots of varied products from fresh cakes bread eggs to plants herbs frozen food locally grown fruit and veg. Also honey and jams and so much more.
Today I had what was probably the best pub Sunday roast I've ever eaten. Toby carvery look and weep. Thank you to the hosts for a fantastic meal in comfortable surroundings. We will definitely be back.
Lovely country pub. Local people are very friendly and nice. The menu is very reasonable. Only half a mile from woodovis caravan site. Bottled milkshake machine also on the car park. Great place
Arranged skittles evening for 28 last night. Landlord & Landlady were away so stand in host & hostess were excellent & pulled all the stops out to give us a good night. Food excellent very tasty & hot. Thanks Carlton, Alison & Sarah. X
Played skittles with the Rotary club. Fun evening. Food was good, (I had scampi and chips) and close to 30 meals all delivered close together and hot. Bar service was a bit slow as only one person serving but they probably don't usually have such a big group.
Went to.the Tamar Valley Dairy Co. Milkshake machine. Very clean easy to use the machine. Plus tastes lovely.
Possibly the best Carvery we have had in years! Just like 'nan' cooked. Great value, great quality +++
Our new favourite place for a roast! They have different portion sizes so will suit everyone's appetite. Small outside eating area for when the sun's shining! Only downside in my opinion is there isn't much room in the eating area.. it can be quite cramped when it's busy.
Lovely traditional pub/restaurant. Food and drink was great with excellent choice, staff were friendly and it was a very clean/safe environment. We dined early, hence empty bar 😁
Hard working family run pub, great beer, great Sunday carvery, basic, well done stuff... If you want fine dining go elsewhere, if you want a decent Sunday dinner come here. Great service too!
Quiet , but lunch was good and young man bar attendant very sociable . The fruit and veg next door Hill Farm excellent . Fruit and veg super fresh . Have had meat from them that they deliver. So appreciative . Thank you
