Absolutely lovely skinless fish with the most amazing light batter, chips looked good and tasted even better!

This is definitely the nicest Fish & chip shop in the area. It is take out only & the shop is very small which means that sometimes you have to wait outside for your order! It is well worth it as the food is excellent. Lovely Crispy batter on good quality fish & the chips are lovely & all freshly cooked.

This is a takeaway so not much counter space. Excellent chippy, great curry sauce and mushy peas, fried really well, fantastic chips. More vinegar and salt very good. Battered sausage and fish cake great too. Well deserving of the high rating - we took this and had it on a park bench by the town council!

Wow!! This was the best fish chips and curry sauce I've ever had.
Crispy batter moist fish chips ate devine and curry sauce is beautiful.
Well worth the 300 mile round trip from Coventry.

Very much a favourite with the locals and I can see why, fish is freshly cooked and chips are golden. Batter is lovely and light and almost free from oil, portion size is perfect and when we asked for lots of salt and vinegar they were spot-on (many chippys get this wrong). Mushy peas were a real hit too. So glad we went out of town rather than into town where there are lots of chippys.

Freshly cooked to order the fish where crisp and flavoursome. Chips where of equally high quality with a side of mushy peas and gravy, perfect. It was a pleasure listening to whistling Paul as he cooked our fish and chips. 👍😄 Very friendly and welcoming staff.
We where informed the fish we ordered where slightly on the small side, so free of charge and unprompted very kindly provided us with two extra ones. An all round pleasant experience and enjoyable meal. we will be visiting again.

I haven't had fish and chips since the place changed hands. I was blown over. Melt in the mouth chips, fresh, moist fish in lovely batter. Everything in paper, no polystyrene in sight. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
