Review Gardeners Retreat Coffee Shop - Haddenham

Huge Garden Centre near to Tiggywinkles. Lots of gifts, Edinburgh Wool Mill clothing. Fantastic selection of plants. Really good restaurant with table service. Large carpark. Customer toilets. Food hall too. Much more than your standard garden centre. High end therefore a bit pricey.

I drive through Haddenham most days, and I decided to stop what a great shop! I was only able to have a quick walk around as it was the end of the day, not that I was rushed 😊 I was really impressed and was able to get some great gluten free cakes and beers. I had a lovely girl serve me at the deli, who helped and advised me what to get, she really cheered me up after a long day at work so thank you! Well worth a visit!

I visited the Garden centre to have lunch with an old friend, so I can't really comment on the garden side of things. But the food was good and the prices reasonable. There was plenty of space between the tables so you didn't feel claustrophobic. The biggest drawback was the echoey sound in the barn-like restaurant which sometimes made hearing conversations more difficult than it need be. Staff were attentive but not overly so, therefore you didn't feel rushed at all

We went to Haddenham garden centre for breakfast today. It was so busy because of father's day. The serving staff and chefs delivered a top class service. Our waitresses were Izzy and Sophie, nothing was too much trouble. They remained calm, friendly and gave us a brilliant service. The supervisor was on the floor helping with enquiries and answering questions. The food was hot, tasty and well presented. A big well done and thank you to you all.xx

Brilliant breakfast there. Chef Georgie does a fantastic job. 10/10 every time and they have a brilliant gluten free menu. Would recommend and will always go because of Georgie!!

1 was treated to a fathers day tea at the centre, amazing, there was so much food and so much variety. There were 5 of us and we needed take home boxes for what was left over. Brilliant quality food served pleasantly by attentive staff.

Been here several times and loved it every time. I love seeing the array of food, decorations and furniture available, there’s something for everyone. For me the best part is the little Works craft store as the staff are friendly and helpful to wheelchair users and cleverly juggle available space with stocking plenty of awesome crafting goodies and ensuring there is space for a wheelchair or pushchair to navigate freely.

A lovely experience for a garden centre. They have excellent garden wares and plant stock in. It is clearly of good quality and is well looked after. The cafe serves good food and the staff are friendly and polite. They seem to be dealing with the current hospitality storage very well. Not five stars as it is quite pricey but we still love going and picking up something special.

Looks fantastic since the rebuild! 😍 Went for afternoon tea, fabulous food and lovely staff! I accidentally knocked over our cake stand and they replaced all the cakes straight away, very grateful ❤ Will definitely be going back, I'll try to be less clumsy next time 🤭

Love the feeling inside this restaurant. It's all very pleasing on the eye. Staff are all very well trained and polite. The gourmet burger was so good! It's a great shame the butchers have gone. Loved seeing the hanging meat and having their knowledge at the counter. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Met some friends for Breakfast..The service was excellent and the food was very good value for money...and great for me as they do not allow dogs... it makes a refreshing change to go somewhere and not leave sneezing and wheezing ..Will definitely return
