Lovely restaurant. Gr ESA at food and wine. Friendly staff.
Went for lunch here on Saturday, excellent value for money from the fixed price lunchtime menu. Good sized portions and well cooked tasty food, carrots that actually tasted of carrots. Delicious Rhubarb dessert. Helpful friendly staff.
Great atmosphere like in 1920-40. Delicious food, big portions that we had no more space for dessert and not so bad prices. The best restaurant what i have been since i came to Scotland. Try camembert for starter:)

Excellent quality and value for money - food can take a while to arrive but at least you know that it is all being cooked from scratch. Don’t agree with waitresses wearing leggings as work as it’s not very professional
The reason for only 4 starts is not the food which was amazing but the service .we had to wait to receive a menu and the drinks menu then another wait to get our drinks order taken.i know the restaurant was busy but the young staff seemed to find time to chat.its not a good look.we love coming to nu
Had our first meal last night as had been recommended by a friend.Meal arrived on time piping hot and delicious 😋 Can't wait till my next one will be telling friends how fantastic it was.Thank you all

Just had lunch with my family today at Number 7. All the food we had was excellent and the service very friendly. I would highly recommend.
A true little gem, really glad we tried it. Ambiance is quirky, unique and laid back, food was lovely and exceptional value.

Cracking meal and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and it had a more extensive beer selection than you might expect.
