Didn't have food, just a refreshing pint, which was one of the best pulled pints I have seen in a long time. Proper pub, which is a rare thing. I was just visiting the area, but I will be back. 🍺 !!

Brilliant local pub in Haddington. Great selection of beers on tap. Lovely, large beer garden out the back. Pizza's were delicious too. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a wee gem in East Lothian.

Just had the starter cream of courgette, garlic and parsley soup which is very nice..nice and friendly staff.

Was in the dining area 3 weeks ago and the food was excellent and very reasonable priced. Five meals, four soft drinks and one IPA - cost was around £83; very reasonable these days.
On Sunday, went to the bar to watch football. Place was empty, which was surprising, given it is a very clean and welcoming place. Got a taster before buying a beer, then had a few IPA - £5.50 a pint for the latter. Again; very reasonable given I paid £6.80 for same IPA in Edinburgh last week. Great service on both occasions and I will make a point of going back soon.

Arrived as a coach load and got served really quickly when we arrived. Black sheep on tap. Ashes cricket showing on two televisions in our bar. We didn't eat, so I can not comment on that. Toilets clean. It's a lovely place, and I really recommend it.
Lost a service star as later there was only one staff on and I didn't get served when they were changing the barrel, which I accept happens, but I had a dry 15 minutes!

Visited as a group of 40 or so for a retirement celebration. Venue offers ideal combination of a cosy bar to meet up, then move through to restaurant for a meal. Bar and restaurant service, and food, couldn't be faulted. Recommended.

Visited at lunchtime and enjoyed the fixed price lunch menu. Had our dog so ate in the bar. Food was excellent, very good value, staff were friendly and welcoming. Look forward to a return visit.
