We've been to Bangla Lounge on a number of occasions & always had good meals, although the service has always been a bit hit & miss. The staff have always been friendly. On this occasion the service was acceptable. They always give you a complimentary drink, usually a Baileys or whiskey, which is appreciated, but, I do think they should ask you, especially if you're driving. I do realise you don't have to drink it. The hot drinks are very limited to a flat or floater coffee.They also cater for takeaways & online orders.

There was an Elvis tribute act on the night we went, but we weren't told this when booking was made.
We probably wouldn't have gone if we'd known.
It meant we couldn't talk amongst ourselves much. We also couldn't hear the waiter very well.
I got a starter I didn't order, but it was ok so I took it.
The rest of the meal was pleasant.
The beer we ordered wasn't chilled.
The bill was well above what we expected, but we did get £40+ off when we queried it. Apparently we were paying for the act as well.
Would go again if there was no act on.

Excellent evening. Really competitive pricing and no sacrifice on the food either. Accommodates groups and individuals. Super. Travelled one hour to eat here.

the food is fantastic this time i had the mixed balti and the wife king prawn danshak. both were fantastic. not matter what we choose its always been great

Nargis kebab isn't on the menu but they still did three for us. Same with keema-cheese naan; not listed but they were happy to do it, and I was extremely happy eating it. 🐷

Very nice food but like lots of the reviews the service let it down. Took 45 mins for our food to come out and considering we were 1 of only 3 tables in there something wasn't right. I ask the waiter and he said they were really busy on takeaways .... Not good and then when the food came the manager lied and said it was because of the hard boiled egg in my main... Really , 45 mins for a hard boiled egg. Hate to think how long it would have taken if they were busy !!!!
