I'm from duncaster and heard a lot about Lanica restaurant , the food here is amazing and the price is reasonable, I will tell people to give it a try.
First time I've been and really enjoyed it. Not the biggest selection I've seen at a buffet but the quality was really good. I actually prefer that they don't have a ton of each dish sitting out so its generally only fresh when it's available.
Price is slightly on the high side at the weekend but i think that's reflected in the food.
Lamb chops are fantastic.
Can’t understand some of these negative reviews on here, people need to try for themselves.. the food and service are quality for the price you’re paying. Places like this are brilliant at be cause they’re not hyped up, just good honest food 👍🏻

Amazing, fresh, tasty food if a great variety. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, and such a good price for the quality of the food. Best Indian I’ve had in a long time and the fact it’s a buffet place makes it even better. Even have chips and nuggets for the fussier little ones. Our go to birthday meal/special occasion place now!
We really enjoyed dining at the buffet as all the food was so tasty.
I can’t really fault any of the food, the lamb chops, fish and lamb Karahi were the best items on the menu.
Hashim provided excellent service, checking on us regularly to see if we needed anything.
Welcome to Halifax. This is a buffet restaurant which serves South Asian cuisine. The athmosphere is amazing and the foods are delicious. I love their lamb chop and lamb curry. They also provide a car park inside the bussiness site. Don't forget to try the ice cream. I would recommend this place as family restaurant. Cheers.
Great buffet restaurant food is always warm and fresh multiple starters and mains and dessert options available also they do birthday bookings and wedding bookings aswell so if you're looking for a dine in or take away or you're booking a birthday party or wedding function they can accommodate and you won't be disappointed
I have visited this place 2 maybe 3 times. I find the selection very repetitive and sometimes not up to scratch for example cold or in need of re-fill. On a positive note the food is nice. I think the customer service could be better as no one asks if everything is ok and some of the waiters do look fed up. This shows through the way they are when they come to table to pick up plates etc. I have to say that this place was much better in the past years. Just an honest opinion, no personal issues etc.
Really enjoyed my food at this buffet place. Good verity of food from starters and main dishes and sweet dishes. Nice clean place staff very helpful. Small carpark on site
