What a wicked vibe they have going here. I visited The Piece Hall on a very rainy day, but Loafers provided a warm and cosy setting to enjoy a good brew and a dig. Nice selection of brand new vinyl as well as a couple of crates of secondhand. Something to suit most tastes. The staff working were very friendly and accommodating and the flat white was tasty, nice roast with a decent texture on the milk. 10/10 will be back soon
I stumbled across this place after having a walk around the square.
This place is special. Superb setting with indoor and outdoor seating over looking the square. This place offers coffee, vinyl and top craft beer.
The staff were very welcoming. The beer selection was varied. Goes without saying but the music was superb as well.
I'd definitely visit again.

A lovely small venue serving up cool vinyl, hot drinks and great ales. Usually has an inspiring soundtrack on as you browse the vinyl selection.
What can I say, great coffee, great music and all wrapped up in the amazing surroundings of the Piece Hall. Anyone visiting Halifax should really check out this gem! Mark and the team really have created the best place in Halifax to just chill out and watch the world go by.
Had a couple of very nice pints from Vocation brewery in this popular little bar nestled in the historic Piece Hall. Service was brilliant, ordered at the bar and had the drinks brought to our table outside. Prices are slightly higher than average, but not overly so. Perfect for a couple of relaxing day time beers.
What a gem of a place. Excellent coffee and good drinks menu. Quality vinyl selection to browse and purchase and the staff are excellent and really friendly. Will def be going back 👍🏽

Loafers is a great space in the iconic Piece Hall and is well suited to this intimate sort of event.
They serve beer, coffee, cakes and snacks. The beer is well kept and well priced, mainly from the nearby Vocation Brewery. My partner assured me that the cake was nice too.
I didn’t have the opportunity to check out their vinyl offering, I’ll have to come back soon!
