The Deli - Halifax - Photo album

Great child and dog friendly cafe that sells hot and cold drinks and serves lunch breakfast and brunch and also has a food shop and outdoor seating so overall a great cafe
Visited on bank holiday Monday with my friend and my 10 month old son. We sat outside so their was plenty of room, there didn’t seem to be high chairs here but that wasn’t much of a problem as my son just sat on my knee. Lovely food and a coffee. Really well priced. Incredibly friendly staff. Would
We sat outside on a sunny April lunchtime and soaked up the atmosphere of the beautiful Piece Hall. There was a short wait to place our order at the counter. We had drinks and my daughter chose a toasted mozzarella and pesto sandwich and my mother and I chose Yorkshire pie with mushy peas, mint sauc
First time visiting. Really enjoyed the pie and peas. My boss also enjoyed her brie and mixed pepper. Would definitely recommend
Friendly service and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing coffee and generous sized cakes, although we found the tray bake style cakes were a little on the dry side, whereas the cakes kept in their own display case were spot on and perfectly moist.
Special pumpkin latte and spiced aple chai, delicious.
Brilliant food, so much to choose from and lovely people who served us. I had the salmon platter and my mum had ploughman's lunch cheap as well. They do lovely hot chocolates and the salted caramel latte was to die for 😍😋
Nice little deli and cafe - good quality, well-made coffee and nice cakes, including gluten free options. The kids loved their hot chocolate with marshmallows!
Lovely place to sit outside, even if the weather isn't too warm as they have heaters, and enjoy watching the world go by within the magnificent Piece Hall. Food is very good and reasonably priced.
Great place to sit out and enjoy the sun (if it is out), the space, the views... Cappuccino and cakes are great too
Great place for a light lunch. Wonderful setting! Good service and lovely food!
Our first visit today to The Deli Café, great food, service and location. Many thanks to the very professional, helpful and friendly staff, a credit to you all, we will be back.
Really enjoyed our lunch - food was incredibly tasty and coffee excellent too. Soya milk and almond milk both available, which I was really pleased to see. Only reason not giving 5 stars was that it felt a little cramped inside, and the menu is limited, and potentially not for everyone.
Amazing experience today. No tables available but a member of staff helped us make a decision to stick around as he advised one would be free in a few minutes. Very glad we did as the food arrived quickly and was fantastic - we had the Ploughman's Sharing Platter and it was a feast!! Very reasonable
Lovely food, great pot of tea, friendly staff!
Very good outdoor seating with sturdy umbrella. Kept massive downpour off.
Really nice coffee ☕️, also recommend the toasted teacake 🤤
Stopped for lunch en route to Chesterfield. Very nice jacket potato and toastie. Pots of tea very acceptable, decent flavour, am assuming it was Yorkshire Tea. Pleasant staff, friendly and polite. Reasonable prices. Gave a 4 only because would have liked more choice for jacket and sandwich fillings.
