The cakes where beautiful loved the little China cups n saucers, it was a great little place for our girlie get together. Will defo visit again. (Maybe we will try the prosecco and afternoon tea next time)

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my Mum for her birthday. They were so lovely and were happy to make a vegetarian afternoon tea for us no problems at all, which doesn’t always happen! The food was homely and tasty and the staff were professional and friendly, what a sweet little place, we’ll be back!

Just returned from my sister in laws surprise 'hen party' afternoon tea. We had the back room to ourselves so could set the tables out in a big square and all sit together. Fab food and service throughout, highly recommend x

3 of us had lunch, sandwiches and panninis. Really enjoyed them. Was waiting a while after recieving our drinks for the food but think they were having problems with coffee machine. Food was worth waiting for. Had chocolate bounty cake for desert, shared between 2 of us because the slices are massive.. will be calling again it is lovely.

Had several delicious afternoon teas here, sandwiches and cakes always delightful! The children's option we tried was superb and they really enjoyed it all! Had your 'stray' special cooked breakfast this weekend and was excellent value. Thanks for being so accommodating and the kids stay entertained while us grown ups catch up over cuppa and cake xx

A delicious breakfast, fast service and reasonably priced. It can be busy at the weekend so give yourself plenty of time. Occasionally I've been waiting longer than expected for a breakfast, as the building is quite small it can get cramped also.

Fantastic breakfast and great owners, we were working here for three days and used it every morning.. I only wish I had a place like this round the corner from me. 5 stars.

My friend took me as a post-op treat and birthday trip out. This hidden little jem on the end of a row of terrace housing looks quiet but was nice and busy. The staff were quick to greet and seat us and take our order. We had the afternoon tea. The finger sandwiches were generous in size and filled with our choices of filling. Small decorative salad was fresh and some crisps just filled out the bottom of the 3 tier plate. Middle.tier had fresh scones cream and jam and top tier was a choice of their cakes. I had the St Clement's cake which was a big thick wedge. Tea and coffees too. Really good value and we had a lovely time.

We had been meaning to come here for years, when we finally did go I wish I'd gone sooner. Really friendly welcome, great menu selection, Yorkshire Tea and comfortable surroundings. We could have stayed all day. Can't wait to return to sample the afternoon tea.

Excellent service from attentive staff. We ordered coffee and some of the most amazing cakes. The lemon meringue cake was zingy, zesty and tasted of lemon. Many other flavours to choose. Full menu through breakfasts and light meals. Left for a walk with a bacon sandwich to go.

Wonderful place to eat whether for a snack or meal. Breakfasts are extremely filling, and cakes are out of this world. For me as a coeliac gf bread was served with my soup, and I suspect that they will have gf cakes hiding somewhere. Lovely owners who are really friendly. Will be back when they reopen as 5 mind drive and 20 mins walk from home.
