New Lodge Fisheries - Halifax - Photo album

Lovely food and very friendly staff. Had the fish butty with a few chips option and it was a generous portion and fish fried when we ordered it. Was nice to sit outside on one of the picnic benches to eat it
Food’s good but they didn’t had any place to eat. Despite asking them “ can I sit in your full empty restaurant”. They said “no”🥲. They had given me one piece of haddock for approximately 9pounds and chips. Food tasted that it had no lard, slightly salty and slight taste of vinegar despite saying t
Always great fish and chips. Never had a bad one from here. Good prices and easy parking alongside. Yum!
The staff are very friendly and I've been coming back every week, I tried a fish and it was done perfect and the chips are always fresh and tasty. I often get curry and chips and they're very delicious. I recommend 👌
Prices match the going rate, it’s a difficult period for the fish and chip industry, however staff are always friendly and try their best. Amazing choice of curry sauces, they have Irish curry which is different but very nice. Thank you
Great fish and chip shop right next to the park. Good choice and plenty of attentive staff. They have outside seating as well which is great. Plenty of drinks, ice creams, and sweets for people wanting anything other than fish and chips.
Lovely fish and chip shop with additional seating area upstairs. The lady who served us was lovely.
Without doubt the best fish&chips anywhere, I’m from Scarborough and have eaten some great fish&chips over the years but I always visit here when I’m in Halifax, wonderful friendly staff , great fresh cooked food and always a pleasure to eat in or takeaway , if you like quality fish&chips then this
Vast menu, reasonable prices, nice staff and lovely food everything you would expect from a Yorkshire chippy
Have used New Lodge for fish and chips to take out for a while and have always been good, especially as they sell Irish curry sauce! Must say though, we went with my grandma and a couple of her house friends last week to eat in, and the service was amazing. The lady who took our order was patient,
Lovely chips and curry sauce. A bit expensive but we all know how costs have gone up for businesses in these awful times of horrendous fuel crisis . It is important to try to support local business so we can keep them. I was as full as a,drum all day I really enjoyed them. The staff were lovely and
Update: The lovely ladies continued to serve customers with a smile and amazing patience during this incredible heat wave. They all deserve a bonus. As I said in my original review, Highly recommend! Love the staff and the fish & chips are the best. Go there often and they always remember us. Highl
Lovely friendly place to enjoy lovely fish n chips
Coming from Bournemouth where they have no idea how to cook fish and chips. These were superb. Light thin batter, not uncooked and soggy. Meaty big flakes of haddock. Chips were great. Prices fine, cheap compared to the south coast. Portion size fine. Haven't enjoyed F and Cs as much for many many
Always nice quality and by a big park with plenty of convient parking. Lots of offers so something for everyone. Can eat in too. Fully recommend. My dog goes crazy when smells the fish 😂
