Had a spicy chicken sandwich combo with a diet coke and cheese crossaint. It was absolutely amazing. I also ordered a chocolate crossaint and vanilla cake to have at a later time and I must tell you the chocolate crossaint was to die for, just be careful not to overheat as the chocolate oozes out 😄 10/10 recommend. Vanilla cake , Chef kiss 😆

I went in for breakfast while waiting for my tires to get changed across the road. Was apprehensive because there wasn't any sandwiches that screamed "breakfast" to me, but I ordered the special where you get coffee, a sandwich and a pastry. Came to about $12. The sandwich was amazing, so flavourful, and the pastry (apple streudel) was delicious, with pastry that was soft, so it didn't explode all over the table while I ate it. My only issue was with the server. He got to me fast enough, but never actually looked at me, kept his head down, and had to keep getting him to repeat himself cause he kept mumbling. Was my only issue. Back on the plus side, the "lounge" part of the name really comes through! I sat on the couch with my food and a magazine, and was very comfortable for the hour I was there. I definitely would have stayed longer if I could! This place is definitely a hidden gem, and I'm hoping I just caught the staff on a bad day, cause it's definitely a place I want to go back to. Highly recommend

Great sandwich that comes with a dessert and drink for a reasonable price. There is also a good selection of coffees, teas and sodas. The atmosphere is chill and there is free wifi. If you're looking for a nice place to wind down and have a cup of joe, tea or soft drink and a sandwich or treat, this is a good option. Thank you for the customized cake 8inch (chocolate blueberry 35 cad).. it was delicious and affordable . I ordered tru online website and they sent some sample cake pictures tru facebook messenger. The are very accommodating and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommended for the excellent taste and affordable price.

On an expedition to explore good breakfast in and around Halifax. My husband and I stumbled upon The Bread Lounge Bakery. We absolutely loved what we ordered. We opted for the combo options. I felt it was easy on pockets(Combo for $9.75 -$10.75). Ambience was calm and good. A special shout-out to the pesto veg bocconcini sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich.
