Absolutely brilliant food and customer service tonight from One of the best chip shops around.
Had the special squid alongside my usual fish chips peas and curry. Everything was cooked to perfection and was not greasy as some places. Couldn't of asked for more. Award winning chip shop award winning food, friendly staff.

Just had fish and chips. All was very tasty. The fish was very tasty and plenty of flavour and sweet. Best fish that we had for a long time
The fish was of a reasonable size and tasted good, the chips were well cooked , mushy peas nice not too dried out or watery like some places, the owner (I think ) friendly .

Popped in to this chippy 10mins before they closed and the young man behind the counter was happy to fry me a fish even though they had none ready fried. The young lady at the counter was just as happy to serve me the food once done.
Lovely conversation with them both while I waited. I'd highly recommend this chip shop simply based on the amazing customer service. Now my fav go to place if I'm in the area again.

Amazing! I can see why this place was the 2019 Winner of the Fish n Chip awards. Literally perfect fish and chips.
And the staff were super nice and accomodating even when i turned up just 5 mins before closing, which made it even better!

On Thursday Friday and Saturday your also able to get pizza at an amazing price, I would recommend you phone through your order though as they can get busy. There dough is hand made each day so your pizza tastes fresh as. The staff are by far the friendliest around.
Also they do have daily deals on and sometimes mix it up abit with a sneaky deal that's on for either when stocks last or for the week so make sure you ask when ordering.

Good quality Fish and chips. Well trained staff. Polite efficient and I love the homemade tartare sauce. Place looks very clean. You can phone your order in to collect. Have eaten from here on many occasions and not been disappointed yet! Just wish this was my local chippy !
Managed to get fish & chips on our 2nd attempt as we didn't realise it closed so early - 8pm. Only had cod not haddock which they didn't tell us under we tried to order the latter. The large chips was enough for 2 if bought with fish.
Can't be faulted the quality of the food is excellent! Everything is cooked just right! My normal experinces of fish and chips is tasty as you are eating them and an hour later regret eating them because they are too greasy. Well definately NOT here!!!
Tried a few of the pizza's as well, again excellent! The chicken and mushroom pies are a favourite if I fancy a change from the fish!
Well worth a trip out of town!

Excellent chippy. Friendly staff, cooked fish to order, so that it was cooked to perfection.
The staff were great with my kids who showed an interest in how the fish was battered and cooked.
We'll be back next time we're in the area.
