Steak night! I love this place. My parents lived nearby for several years so this became popular, I visited again with my brother last night. Food is great, Thursday was steak night and we had the Tomahawk to share. A great selection of beers, cider and wine before moving on to the rum! The staff are great and I look forward to going back. Adding an old fashioned to the menu would get it six stars.....

I stopped here on a lovely summer afternoon with my husband and family for some drinks. It has such a beautiful and cozy outdoor patio, with plenty of seating, lots of lush plants and flowers, and overhead canopies and umbrellas to keep us cool. We only had drinks, so I can't speak to the food. But the drink menu was extensive enough. I had a Mortimer's berry cider that was delicious and refreshing. Cheers!

Stopped here on a whim on a sunny Saturday afternoon and we were seated quickly. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it way surpassed my expectations. It was delicious and there was so much chicken, the chips were fab too! Great beer garden, lots of tables and pretty lights.

Went for their pizza night. Lovely pizza, cooked fresh to order in their outside stone oven. The garden had a cosy atmosphere and staff very kind and responsive. Would go again when next in the area.

First time to day at the King and Queen. Had dinner in the garden. Very polite and friendly service. Order taken promptly . Drinks served soon after. Food after cooking time. Nicely presented and tasty. Inside and outside seating. Good range of food. Two pay carparks one as you come in to the village one by the river and ferry . Road down quite steep and a bit uneven.

Advise to go early if you made no reservation, otherwise might not be lucky enough to have a table.
Very fresh Scottish mussels. Amazing for any seafood lover.
Lovely staff and beautiful outside dining.
Definitely will go back.

Have been here many times in the past but not for a while. Came for a drink to meet up with a friend. Always a nice chilled vibe here. Nice ambience. Seating inside or outside. Inside tends to be nice and cozy. The toilet is located downstairs. There is a little area to sit down a level at the back of the pub too. Parking is down in the main village car park. Friendly staff who are very attentive and helpful. Do like a visit here. Been too long!

If your looking for a foodie pub then look no further.
The baby squid with a light crisp batter was a perfect halfway point to tempura.
A mountain of succulent Beef ticked all the boxes.
Relaxing garden atmosphere with attentive staff (in our case Joe) will cater to all your needs with a seamless supply of drinks.

Great atmosphere, a menu with something for everyone. Well priced, well cooked. Nice outdoor seating, dog friendly. A great location near the marina on the River Hamble. Oh, and a very long drinks menu.
We love it there

Really sweet, hidden gem that we stumbled across whilst walking through Hamble. Located off the cobbled High Street, we popped in for a drink in the beautiful courtyard. Dog friendly. Mid afternoon so we didn't eat, just had a drink.

Really good food, the oooonly thing I could nick pick at was the main roast dinner was brought out, and then 5 minutes later the veg was which was a tad slow but then we were a table of 8 people so can't grumble too much as it was a little busy.
All in all a very nice pub/restaurant, would definately come here again.

The pub is really busy as you walk in, dodging the smokers and drinkers...but go to the back room and it's a beautifully decorated shabby chick room! Staff are absolutely lovely and friendly. Food was very good and very well priced. Best fish and chips I've had, it was light and flaky, not oily. Yumm!!!

2nd time after a lot of years, can say that I m very happy and pleasantly surprised from the decoration, so cozy, so warm and traditional elements all over the place add to the old time classic, rustic atmosphere. Absolutely loved it. What to say about the food, tried the tuna melt toasted sandwich and the chicken pesto with a small bucket of fries and it was tasty, delicious, full of flavour the pesto was freshly made the cheese was melted enough to feel the smoothness and the bread slices cut from a loaf were crunchy. Bit of salad by the side tomato, cucumber and green leaves. Highly recommend. And the walk down the morrow streets reminded me of a walk in a small island . Well done

We visited the pub on steak night. During outside serving only. Steak was well cooked to medium/rare as per order.
Covid compliance was excellent with good practice and vigorous cleaning once people have left. Good service and helpful staff. Will happily go back again.

Fabulous place for drinking or dining. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The garden area is a pretty oasis of peace and tranquility. Starters and sharing plates were great accompaniments to an early evening drink .....and were good in both quality and quantity.

Absolutely stunning!!!!! The staff where super friendly. What an amazing place to find. And to have waitresses and waiters make you feel so special is definitely hard to find these days. Thank you for such a beautiful special lunch. We will be back soon!!!!!

Would have been better if, the meal wasn't swimming in gravy. Invest in some gravy boats, so your guests can have the pleasure of adding their own.

I think on a scorching hot day , there is no better place..staff were so attentive and the atmosphere great! Will most definitely be returning as their food is amazing! Thank you we had a lovely time!

Always a pleasure to go to the king and queen whether it's for a quick drink, steak night, pizza night or a Sunday roast. A group of us 24 took over the lover seating area recently after a charity run and the food and service couldn't have been better.

Went there today and didn't feel welcome because we "only wanted coffee and ice creams" as the waitress put it. This place is marketed as a coffee shop ! We also were charged £5.95 for a bowl of ice cream for our children and when queried we were told that's how much a dessert is! We haven't paid that much in Harrods for ice cream ! We won't be returning for sure.

Best pub in Hampshire with great food and drinks (especially rum!) selection! Staff are very friendly and courteous. Lovely location too with fantastic beer garden in the summer

Lovely vintage place near to the water. Real fireplace with real fire. Nice stuff serves the delicious coffee and Carrot Cake. I have found my perfect place for drawing, writing, thinking, chatting. And for drinking and eating of course :)

Having just moved to the village this week, we walked into the king and Queen last night for dinner, what a great experience from start to finish. Anne Marie looked after us superbly all evening with table service of drinks and food. Ambience, vibe, lighting, service all superb. I can't recall another Hampshire pub that does it this well.
Food was swift to arrive, good portions (the burger in particular looked epic) and fairly priced.
This could well be my new local for the next year in hamble. Keep it up guys. Fantastic.

Arrived and settled in for our first drink after a busy day playing with boats. Met a couple of friends we regularly see at the pub all good. Went to the bar for a second round and turned around to find my daughter 18 and her boyfriend 19 being ID checked. Only issue they had no ID with them. Both are regulars at the pub and despite trying to reason our fun and merriment cut short by the short sightedness and inflexibility of the staff.

Great pub in centre of Hamble. Good food, beer, wine, rum...Lovely outside tables too.

Stopped off for a coffee and one of the best and hottest coffee we had there and both of us enjoyed them. Highly recommended 👍☕️🍺🍻🥂🍷🥃🍸🍹🍾🥄🍴

Not good I'm afraid, eaten here before and it was nice but this time we all had King and queen burgers and they were so over cooked and dry.

Had a lovely lunch here today with friends , food great , very dog friendly , we will return
