Lovely coffee and cake. Such nice people here and the food is delightful. Missed not having my vanilla shot- syrups not available and had to come up with a plan B for my drink.

Called in to Hayes Common this morning for brunch. I received a lovely welcome and was taken promptly to a table. Ordered coffee while I waited for a friend to arrive.
Service overall was excellent. Kāwhe was perfect, kai was scrumptious, and the atmosphere was perfect.
Really enjoyed the experience and glad we decided to go there. Highly recommended 👌

This place was unreal - food was incredible, good with really unique twists. Tasted better than it sounded on the menu, which is rarely the case.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Looks like a nice place to work as it was evident from the attitude of the staff.
Stunning location, amazing vibes, the setting was rustic, very aesthetic.
Will surely return again.

The set or was amazing, everyone was super attentive, but also the burgers are great. Add the bacon, not the fries as they're just a small amount of French fries. Their non-alcoholic beer/drink list could do with looking at but otherwise a nice little place on the side of the river.

Love this place. We live in the far north and whenever we go south we make sure to stop in. The food is great, the Cafe is beautiful and has a lovely vibe to it. Staff are friendly and attentive. Love it!

Dropped in at Hayes Common to get the Boon Arts map and start our week long hunt for the art adventure and ended up grabbing fries, flat white and Vietnamese coffee.
What I loved about this place is how hip and yet laid back it is. A combination you wouldn’t normally find. It has that comfy, “you can be yourself atmosphere” while not losing the warm charm.

I mean, what’s not to love!? You can’t go wrong. Our #1 fave place to detour to when driving through Hamilton. As a wee added extra this visit we were given a doggy menu for our Labrador, so had to partake. Xx

Awesome food and service. You have to try the fabulous “toastie”. Good coffee. The coffee wasn’t hot enough for me personally but this was instantly sorted. Would definitely go back. I mentioned the fabulous toastie to another friend who raced there the next day to try it. Would definitely recommend and return

Somehow, I ended up at Hayes Common 2 weekends in a row for dinner with no regrets whatsoever.
The sticky duck wings are my top recommendation if dining in for dinner with the lamb ribs a close second.
Big fan of the Vietnamese espresso martini too.
The staff were lovely and accommodating for my friend who brought a cake in for us all.
The only downfall was it is slightly chilly at the back of the restaurant but it's not a biggy after a few espresso martinis 🤪
